2008 Lexus IS 250 consumer reviews

For a almost $40,000 car I expected more from Toyota. I heard so many great things about Lexus. I bought a used one in great condition. I found out why. 110,000 miles and all the electrical is going out. The passenger mirror quit working, the stereo shuts itself off randomly, the cruise control does the same, and the window motors are all going out. They roll down and then it takes for ever to get them to roll back up. I have had numerous Chevrolets that have lasted more miles than this car with no problems at all. Very disappointed in this car especially with the price point!!

Bought used dont know whAt they did or didnt do but its steering control is off, tire pressure sensors AlwAys on, AWD doesnt work, rough bumpy ride, red light now on becAuse of brAke system, And trAnsfer cAse clicking. It lAcks power going up hills but i bought it for 3000 Needs Alot of mAintAnAce obviously overlooked. Lexus is A greAt cAr hopefully get this bAck in order. TAke cAre of your cArs.

I absolutely love this car! It's made me a Lexus lover for life! It's beautiful, reliable and a head turner. I LOVE the IS! Great vehicle.

I traded in my 2012 Honda Civic Si for a 2008 IS250 AWD and I could not be happier! This car has more tech and luxury than I could have ever expected. Heated/cooled seats, navigation, "snow mode", back up camera... you name it! When looking for a reasonably priced, luxury but used car... this is perfect! So happy with my purchase and I will now be a lexus owner for life.

This is a great car! Love this car performance! ! Everything in this car is working as it should. Speed, comfort! Awesome sound system! Highly recommended!

This car has given me many compliments every where I go. It's reliable, fast, stylish, and overall a nice car to drive. Very cheap too.

This is my second time owning this car and all i could say is it checks off anything most people want when looking for a used car. Its reliable, comfortable, fun to drive and does not show its age (most people think its a new car). The same engine and transmission is still used to this day in new Lexus cars because its very well made and is economical while still being fun. Totally recommend this car for anyone. Only problem is the interior room but im 6ft, sit comfortably and still leave room for passengers in the rear.

May IS 250 has been a solid performance with less maintenance. Its been a good looking car with tight cornering and good on gas. The gas mileage is very good !!!
