Catastrophic engine failure and zero help from Kia.

Catastrophic engine failure and zero help from Kia. Multiple class action lawsuits against Kia, but no help for us. We paid 17K cash 18 months ago and now the care is worthless. My cousin experienced the same problem from a different Kia. The dealership recommended that I reset the check engine light, top it off with oil and immediately drive it to car max. This is the same level of integrity you can expect to receive from them.

I guess we were one of the lucky ones.

I guess we were one of the lucky ones. Our engine seized up and the dealership was no help. After several calls with Kia and another Kia dealership giving us the heads up that an update we had done qualified us for an engine replacement we were given one at no cost. It took 3 months of back and forth calls with corporate and finally a service manager at the dealership who was cooperative to get the car back. We immediately started researching other brands and traded the Sorento in for a Cherokee. Much nicer car and better reliability. More than likely wont buy another Kia.

The Pendleton Family Experience

Great inventory and vehicles are very clean. The guys there were very helpful and knowledgeable. They let us look for as long as we wanted with no one looking over our shoulder and NO pressure. Getting financed was a breeze and took very little time. Thanks guys.

Beware of engine failure - Google it!!!!

Do not buy a Kia without googling engine failures. You will be screwed. I have a 2016 Kia Sorento and the engine failed. Wish I had done a simple google search. No help from Kia despite extending my warranty due to the engine failure class action suits. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT purchase a Kia or Hyundai

BEWARE ENGINE PROBLEMS‼️

My grandma bought this car 3 years ago with less that 100,000 miles on it. Here recently she had to put the car in the shop because of a problem with the oil, shortly after she got it back the engine blowed. KIA needs to recall this problem! Thankfully KIA has agreed to fix the car free of charge! Still this is unacceptable and needs to be talked about more!

Stay away from KIA

My son purchased this car used in Dec. had it less than a month and the engine needs replaced going to cost over 6,000. Kia has done nothing to help... he's only made two payments on it while the whole time it's been in the shop.
