2021 Kia Seltos consumer reviews

The Seltos is much bigger than it looks. Plenty of room and great safety features. It drives very smooth and is very comfortable. Great car!!

My husband and I have enjoyed driving this vehicle. My favorite part is the two-color style we have on ours. The reason I dropped a star on the rating is be sure of the gas tank. The gas mileage is fine, but the size of the tank is way too small. When the tank is full the suv can manage about a 390 mile range which is not very good. My Sonata (a midsize sedan) has an 18 gallon tank while the Seltos (an SUV) has a 13 gallon tank. I have to fill up way too often which means more stops at gas stations and more time wasted. An SUV should not have a tank smaller than 15 gallons.

We haven’t had the car for too long but so far, it is performing well, is comfortable, has many upgraded and safety features and fun to drive. It has a lot of space for shopping or luggage or kids soccer stuff. So far, so good!

Nice compact car that comes with som many features that I’m still learning the car. Enough leg room love the big touch screen. Love the remote start good for the winter!

Excellent on the highway, roomy and great gas mileage. overall very happy with the car. The car can turn into truck. it has so much room on the back.

I am sticking with KIA, vehicles are great. Performance outstanding, never any problems with the Soul. Easy handle, great ride. Soul would be an ideal car for a first car.

Love the great gas mileage - smaller than our Sorento but zips around great. Find it comfortable and just right for my husband and I.

Excellent fuel mileage. My wife loves the blue tooth and other amenities. I find that the 10 year/100,000 mile warranty is a plus. The salesman was excellent and not at all pushy to make a sale.

RE: Seltos.... If you decide to test drive, pay special attention to the amount of 'vibration' in the steering wheel and decide if you can live with it or not.(at least on the "S" FWD) I didn't pay close enough attention when I test drove...and then I bought one. :( KIA says it is a "natural characteristic" of the vehicle. This even after Techs from two different dealerships test drove and declared 1) "That is not right" (when he felt the vibration) and 2) described in his report to KIA as "Excessive Steering vibration". [yes I test drove before I bought, but you are thinking about the mirrors, blind spots, acceleration, where the control knobs are, interior, etc...plus a sales rep is with you feeding you information....noticed it when I was just a few miles from dealership after the purchase, but didn't realize the full extent at that point.]

Great car everything works as it should. Went from sports car to this so it was definitely much needed living in the north. The only thing that I don’t like is there are not enough cup holders for those sitting in the back seat.
