The passenger seat does not rise and sits too low. When riding as a passenger, I cannot see out over the front. I installed a 1"-1 1/12" riser and this only helped a little. Not a happy passenger!

overall great vehicle, caution...the passenger seat is inches shorter than the drivers. Short passengers beware! Our kia optima power driver seat failed, one of the motors. This car has a recall on the motor Kia did not replace it they play games by gambling lives instead of replacing the motor’s we are afraid to drive it knowing that the motor can lock up and causes an accident and kill multiple people. How can they get away with it ? Connections maybe? Let an American manufacturer try doing this Never Happen. I think they should Ban all Korean vehicles from the USA till they do there obligation fix these vehicles and quit risking American lives it’s all about money it’s like big pharma except Kia is vehicles. I thought the USA was supposed to protect American lives and not risk our lives by gambling them on dangerous foreign vehicles . Replace the xxxx engines and quit playing games with peoples lives. I purchased the Kia optima SXT 2014 in 1/2014. The battery from Kia leaked acid badly. It leaked on the hole side under the battery. It was all over the radiator holes, transmission case, and the others places. I contacted Kia about it they didn't responded. It cost me a major transmission problem. I had the replace the transmission shifter 1st, then had to replace the transmission tray, battery tray, and rewap all the electric wires under the battery tray. Please be aware of this in any Kia optima I buy after 2014 SXT...

Kias are garbage research kia lawsuits and problems ... i have had 2 sorentos, first 2018 with 60k neede new engine, second 2021 with 15000 miles needs new transmission. Oh and they dont know when will be fixed ( its been 3 weeks), have no loaners and do not fully compensate for rentals, kia corporate said that was not part of the warranty. So guess their big 10 year warranty doesnt help.stay away they been having these problems for years, so havent fixed or leaned from mistakes

I owed a 2014 Kia Optmia. My major problem with this car was engine failure. Under a recall Kia replaced the defective motor and gave it a lifetime warranty. 2 years later the engine failed again. Kia refused to honor the warranty and their attorney advised me to file a claim with the class action case for this issue. With less than 70k miles on the car it should not now need a 3rd engine... It is NOT a safe car with 2 engine failures with 70k miles on the car.

This car is awesome. Like the design and price and warranty and quality and... Got it new. Now almost 7 years and 70k looks like new with two kids and few road trips couldn't make better choice.

We bought this car with 0 miles. Long story short it has always had issues with the radio, back up camera and the brakes. And don’t believe the 100k miles warranty because it’s not true. Every time I took the car to check “nothing it’s wrong” the repair Department it’s trained to dismiss you really fast when things are under warranty

By far Big waste of money, engine blow at 50k got a new engine blow 8 months later they didn't even help me... I had a Nissa rogue all this time 2014 and I only did oil changes. I have a friend in Vancouver that bought the 2019 stinger 2 months engine blow and that car was brand new so it's not just me avoid this brand of vehicles you will waste your money honda nissan toyato and acura are better car brands
