Budget friendly, awesome hybrid car.
The niro met all my expectations: was affordable , is reliable, and looks nice from the outside in. Excellent gas mileage. Syncs up nicely with my phone and is a joy to drive. Only downside is the cargo space which is lacking compared to most SUV style vehicles.

4th Kia now and very impressed with my first hybri
We purchased our fourth Kia from Commonwealth, a Niro with top trim. Outstanding performance and equipment. Other than scheduled maintenance I have only had two maintenance needs, and one was at 143,000 miles. I an average 45,000 miles per year and each Kia since 2012 has been an excellent experience.

Another great Kia product!
I've only owned my 2019 Kia Niro S Touring for a few days now but the ride, handling, quiet interior, fuel economy, acceleration, styling, and dependability are all wonderful. I couldn't be happier with my purchase so far. This is my 6th Kia vehicle so far and I just love the reliability, low maintenance costs, exceptional warranty, and piece of mind I have owning a Kia. Plus I'm saving so much money with my gas sipping Niro hybrid that it practically pays for itself in the long run. I have yet to drive it in winter conditions, but it handles great in rainy weather and is great driving around both in the city and on the highway. The interior is very roomy, comfortable, quiet, and well designed. It has no problem.getting up to highway speeds which I was a little concerned about with a 1.6 liter 4 cylinder engine. The dual clutch transmission shifts flawlessly and almost unnoticeable. The headlights and driving lights provide plenty of light even on the darkest night to see where I'm going no matter where I'm at. I love the LED daytime running lights and tail lights, they add a nice touch to the already stylish design. I see myself loving this SUV for many many miles to come and it won't break the bank doing it.

Great gas mileage!
For the cost this vehicle it is a great buy. Over 500 miles per tank since the is a hybrid vehicle. Very roomy and many options are available for most anyone's needs or wants. When you send about 1 1/2 a day commuting you want something that is comfortable and fun to drive, well this vehicle fits.

Best Equipped Car I have ever owned
This is my first Hybrid vehicle, and so far it has been fun to drive! I am still getting used to how quiet it is when it is running on battery. Very roomy for a small SUV, and I especially love the dual AC, power folding door mirrors, and the auto lock feature. It did not come with alloy wheels, which I did not notice at first, since the wheel covers are pretty nice looking.

Surprisingly good driving car!
This is a very good commuter car, particularly when driving long distance. Comfortable and plenty of storage space. Wish there was a 5 volt power port on review mirror for dashcam. Dumb ? - Why didn't Kia include a 12 volt power port for rear seating passenger s? We haul grandkids around, and they want to plug in and charge. Can't do that from rear seating... Stupid. Mileage drops significantly in cold weather, but understand that is common with hybrid cars.

2019 Kia Niro Touring
This is the ultimate commuter car with great gas milage, comfortable ride, and affordable price. It is one of the best handling compact SUVs I have driven. It has plenty of power for cruising around town and on the highway. However, you do have to really push it for passing power on the highway, but it should be enough for most people. The interior is well appointed with the Harmon Kardon sound system providing a decent listening experience. The ride is firm yet comfortable. Overall I highly recommend this car to someone who wants to save money on gas but still wants a sporty driving practical car.

Under-Performing, Even For A Hybrid
It's a given that hybrids sacrifice a bit of performance for exceptional mileage and favorable environmental impact. With that understanding, I test-drove a top-of-the-line Niro Touring. From the first takeoff from a stoplight, it was a no-go. I fail to understand why, given that the vehicle lacks that zip, Kia chose to pair the engine with a dual-clutch transmission, known for hesitation, especially from a dead stop. So we have an under-performing power train, reminiscent of a Buick I once owned. Granted, the vehicle is stylish, the bells and whistles impressive, and fit & finish excellent. But what makes it go doesn't match the rest of the Niro. We'll pass.

58 mpg in the city
Hybrid technology. Love it. Will never go back to a gas guzzler again. Smooth acceleration even in efficient mode. In aggressive lots of get and go. But hardly ever use aggressive driving ( gas engine overdrive). Nice interior and great outside styling. The salesman told me that this car says KIA but it was actually designed in Germany by VW or BMW, can't quite remember.
