Good car for the price

I’ve had my forte for about 3 months now and by now I’ve noticed some things I don’t like but overall it is a great car. I drive 70+ miles to work and back everyday and the ride is kind of rough for a new car in my opinion and it lacks some power but hard to complain about that when I’m averaging 40 mpg highway. I like the interior design and it has plenty of amenities/safety features. Overall I do think the Kia Forte is a good car for the price.

Atkinson engine yields excellent fuel econ/fun

It was cheap. It gets good fuel economy (I've hit 49mpg on the highway) It's still fun to drive (peppy enough, geared right for quick-ish acceleration). It has android auto and it's a base model, kinda rare Clutch is very forgiving for new manual drivers, this is my first new car with a MT

Forte GT the Civic SI killer

So I’ve owned Honda’s and Mustangs my whole life. Mustangs for fun and Honda’s to get from work to home to bringing the kids to practice.. etc.. when my Old Honda was on it’s way out, thought of just going through the normal paces again.. but Honda is just so blah right now.. 1.5L turbo or. 1.8-2.0 N/A motor.. then hearing Honda dealerships tell me how amazing Honda’s are.. I was just kind of over it. I didn’t expect is any shape, way or forum to purchase a Kia but since I was looking for something different, I said why not? Well besides almost hitting my head when getting in, everyone was really wonderful. The soft plastics and covering, the bucket seats, the dash and even rear a/c and heat for the kids? The Kia GT is exactly what I wanted! A car to brings my son to all his practices but also able to slam around turns and hit redline when I am alone and the 1.6L turbo really impressed me. Now what’s gonna happen after 60K plus miles and the warranty runs out? I don’t know but for now and until that happens. I’m going to be enjoying my “dad sleeper car”

This car is a great buy

I've owned this car (FE MT) now for 2 months after purchasing it for $13,500 before tax and tags (includes $1000 rebate). It seems really nice thus far with great styling, nice standard features, with a big touch screen, and a great rear view camera. The biggest surprise thus far has been the gas mileage. Today 7/11, on a 40 mile trip, virtually all of it on the highway at 55-60 mph, I got 58.2 mpg making it the most fuel efficient gas powered car on the market to my knowledge. It's only supposed to get 37 on the highway. Driving around in the suburbs on short trips , I seem to average 32 mpg or so. My only complaints thus far is there is no way to turn off the fog lights and the acceleration is sluggish.

good car for the money. Not a luxury car but it does have some good features. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a reliable car at a good price.
