horribly unconfortable to drive

not thrilled not happy with mpg or comfort I'm 5 '7 and everything is to far forward to reach comfortably. Seat design is horrible. I am not happy with this vehicle at all it rusts very quickly from what I have seen.

Absolutely the best car I ever owned!!

My 1st 2006 Jeep Liberty has 285,000 miles when I sold it and It is still racking up the miles by her new owner. I bought another 2006 Jeep Liberty with only 91,000 miles and it is a beauty!! Handles beautifully in all types of weather. Plenty of room to load my stuff up for flea markets and pulls my trailer without a sweat.

Annoyingly decent

Do you want the most average but also unusually reliable car? You get a generic jeep... this car isnt amazing but it does its job well and doesnt make you feel posh or cheap driving it or owning it...

The best jeep I've owned

Looks great and performs well. Its got a nice pickup speed that you wouldn't normally expect from a truck like this. This jeep runs great even after the 200k miles badge.

Great Affordable SUV!!! Made in USA

I bought my 2006 Jeep Liberty Limited new in 2006. The main reason that we purchased it was that it handled so well in the snow. We actually test drove it in a snow storm. In the past 12 years it has proven to be a very reliable vehicle. The only real problem that we've had has been with the power windows; they fall down. I love the simplicity of the vehicle. It has a 200+ horsepower V6 that actually gets decent fuel economy; I average 22MPG with mine. It actually runs as well as it did the day that I drove it off the lot.I don't think that newer Jeeps that are made in Mexico are as good as my 2006 USA Jeep Liberty.

2017 Consumer Reports: WORST vehicle of 2006

I own a "Limited" Trail Rated Liberty and my wife drives it like a baby. I have contacted chrysler to inform them of a Serious Front End Ball Joint problem, both Upper and Lower. They have recalled the same ball joints on the year before mine. *(plz see my horror story below). Not to mention all the window regulators have broken, the 4 wheel drive shaft locked in place, Fan belt broke causing the A/Condenser Fan Assembly to shatter which also put a hole in the radiator, You have to almost completely stop on any incline to get it to switch into 1st gear, Throttle Pressure Switch, Rear ball joints, Back hatch sensor, A/C Compressor, small crack in windshield at mounting location above dashboard, etc... *Story: It was 11:30 Halloween night and my family and I were driving home when the front end just dropped causing the car to come to a screeching halt. I got out to find my front end resting on my now bent fenders. Not only was it on a blind corner, we broke down in front of a housing community who had plenty of Halloween Eggs! I should ask Chrysler for a paint job as well, but can't get them to help on the life threatening ball joints! I say Life Threatening because if I was on the freeway when this happened, someone could have been killed! I also own a Grand Cherokee as well as a Cherokee, and this is the first time I've had a jeep or car for that matter that I hate. Yes, I hate my Jeep Liberty, thank god it's my wife's! p.s. Thanks for listening XD
