2002 Jeep Liberty consumer reviews

There are some that complains about this vehicle. I guess I got a good one. Bought this vehicle brand new in 02.Got 101,000 miles and no problems yet. Wife only drives it to church ,grocery stores and errands. Drove it to out of state several times and still rolling. No Rust . Got a 07 Liberty put in new coil packs and a 02 sensor, crankshaft sensor and its still rolling.

This car caught our sons eye and he absolutely loves it. Affordable, reliable, fun and the 4x4 gives me a bit of peace of mind for his winter driving. He camps, he hunts, he fishes, he goes to college. This vehicle meets all his needs.

It got great gas millage. Had a moonroof. Heated seats and bluetooth radio. It was comfortable and reliable. It had back up camera. I really liked this car.

My husband bought this Jeep Liberty limited for me brand new and fully loaded, in flame red with cream colored leather seats. We had to wait seven months to get the jeep because of the color. it has been garaged for 16 years and is my favorite toy. I can't say enough about this truck! I love it and I still drive it . it is very comfortable and extremely reliable and is different from any other vehicles on the road.. its a jeep! I highly recommend this for anyone that is looking for something very safe and reliable .... yes it is a gas guzzler but if you're looking for something on the safe side.. I highly recommend this jeep, it's great ! It's also very easy to drive !!

I?ve owned my 2002 liberty for about a year now and have had very minimal problems with it. The car gets me to and from where I need to go without a problem. The only downfall is the car is a gas guzzler! If you?re only driving locally, I would reccomend this Jeep, but if it will be your daily driver to a far distance, I?d go for a more compact, and gas efficient car. Overall would recommend and has made a great first car.

compared to other compact SUV this is a real truck feels solid on the road and a pleasure to drive.Small but roomy and easy to manuver.

I like the Jeep for the life style I enjoy. It?s 4x4 capability is great for off road or winter driving. It?s my driving around town car as it?s so easy to maneuver around parking lots.

Ultimately it is a very solid car. It has more than enough room for my small family plus extra back room for groceries, luggage or the dog when we take him out with us.

I bought this just to get to the construction site every day, it had 250,000 kilometres on it and it drives great always starts and doesn?t leak or burn oil, loves the slippery snow, great heater just fun to drive, just puts a smile on my face every day, may not be the fastest but it will get you there and back, but whatever you do don?t let it overheat and change the oil regularly, I see some have over 300,000 kilometres on and still going great, I paid $1600 for my 2002 it has a little rust but looks very good for the money, I bought it thinking it won?t last long but I?m sure it will surprise me, it just won?t stop it is just amazing little Jeep, you either love it or hate it. I installed factory heated seats to the cloth front seats now it is toasty in there even at minus 30 degrees centigrade gas mileage is pretty poor but don?t buy if you are looking for that, but powerful 3.7 V6 will go anywhere, have fun get one you will never regret it.
