Enjoying the sporty power
I really like new well-equipped latitude I bought. Mine has a nice blend of amenity and spartan features, partially standard, and a few I believe the dealer knew would round out a desirable vehicle at a price point. Steering heat and seat heat work great. Snow and ice performance.. perfect. cabin is very nice.. even in cloth. I love the matte black trim on my white Cherokee. I liked it enough to add a mat black vinyl cover to the hood instead of clear film which looks great. Uconnect system works well and while I worry about the amount of computer that it is.. it is probably the direction of most vehicles. The stop start feature will get your attention the first time it happens to you. It is crazy.. like a "sleep mode". RPMs drop to 0. But services stay on. The second you're off the break..the car restarts but very softly and without lurching at all. Just a change of attitude. Not a problem. The 9 speed if feathered is actually brilliant. It moves forward just enough at a soft pedal to keep ahead of the guy behind you .. but if you need to take off you skip about 3 cycles in a second and you're in 5th and gaining accelleration. My 6 cyl is strong. I am going 70 without feeling like 55... plenty of goose. voice recognition and other new age features performing well. My detracts.. its a bit on the small for a "midsize" if they indeed call it that. Its a big compact.. but with packing smarts it works. The seats.. when flipped forward in row two need to temporarily have the drives seats moved forward in order to fully lay down..and then the driver moves back (fully however). Weird planning there.. but more again, an adjustment than a real pain. aggressive outside styling. A great looking vehicle. I think I'll like it more and more...

Not happy with lease price
I asked for a new lease price on a Jeep..I am currently leasing A Chrysler Town and Country for $330 per month which expires in May 2016...I was quoted a lease price on the Jeep for over $380 per month...that's not a good deal. I priced similar models to the Jeep, a Kia Sportage, Honda CR-V and a Hyundai and the lease on those comparable vehicles was between $250 and $280 per month.....why the difference ????????No argument with the agent, he was respectful...never blame the messenger.

2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk is awesome!
I've already put over 5000 miles on my Jeep and everything is still working great. I've read a lot of negative reviews about the 9 speed transmission. Well let me just say that I haven't had any issues with it so it seems to me Jeep has finally worked out all the bugs. The advanced 4x4 system is amazing! Went trailing recently and it handled everything perfectly, no trouble at all. Now I didn't through anything real crazy or heavy duty but still handled everything great. Love the skid plates on the bottom, great protection. I recommend this car to anybody looking for a SUV that looks and handles great but also isn't afraid to get dirty. Interior is fantastic with really nice sporty leather seats. The only negative thing that I've had is the auto start/stop. You can turn it off with the push of a button but you have to do it every time you start your car since its always defaulted on, not a huge issue though.

Off Road/On Road
We bought the Trailhawk because we actually drive it off roads. This Jeep is up to the brand name. Interior is very nice with all the latest technology. The 4-wheel system works very well. The 9 speed transmission seems to have 1 or 2 too many gears that confuse the computer. Otherwise, a very comfortable driver in town, on the road and off the road.

So Far, Love It
I upgraded from my Wrangler to the Cherokee and have not regretted it at all. By comparison the ride has been very smooth and much quieter compared to the Wrangler (not really a surprise I suppose). What I like: The giant sun/moon roof is hands down amazing I have the luxury group and I think the adaptive cruise control and lane detection are some of the most amazing features I've ever used on a car Lots of USB and plugs so no longer reliant on a car charger Could Improve: Too reliant on the touchscreen for somethings that I would like to be physical buttons, such as seat heating/cooling. It's easy enough to get to these features, but while driving, this could be a distraction Would love Android radio instead of UConnect (personal preference) Overall, this has been a great upgrade and in testing different medium sized SUV's was far and away my top choice. I like the styling of it and the ride is very quite and comfortable.

Not so proud owner of 2016 Trailhawk rattle trap
Bought a 2106 TH on 10-13-15 and it went in for "service" to resolve a rear seat rattle on 10-15. It has been in for service 4 times since then, including a 6 day stay in the shop. After performing the repair from a recommended service bulletin, the rear seat still rattles constantly. Dealership can replicate the rattle, but they just can't seem to fix it. Chrysler opened a star case, but no resolution. Disappointing.

I love this car!
I have never owned a Jeep before; and looked at several different SUVs before settling on the Jeep. It was a great decision. Drives like a Caddy; responds like a sports vehicle; LOVE IT!

First time Jeep owner
So far, I am very pleased with my purchase. Didn't know what to expect at first. I have always owned another brand car. My best friend purchased a Jeep Cherokee. After riding in her car, I started to consider an American made car. I once was a single mother and had to always go by how dependable a car was in order to take care of my kids and myself. My family has always bought another brand, therefore that is all I had ever known.
