Great car!
This car sucks on gas and it's over priced but I love driving it so with the bad comes the good. Engine has what seems to be limitless power! Drove a charger before and have driven many cars this one has the most pep!

great car
this is my first infiniti g-series. got the g35x for the all wheel drive. care has handled very well in all conditions, although I haven't hit the snow yet. looking forward to a few snowy days to see if it handles as well as everyone has been telling me. the only drawback is the gas mileage, i get about 21-22 mpg. i understand it has improved on the g37 due to the 7 speed transmission. other than that, the car is a dream to drive, extremely comfortable, quiet, great integration with bluetooth phone and navigation. would definitely recommend.

Awesome car
I was looking for a car to replace my Camry XLI that my 17 year old inherited. It was hard, because the ride of my '02 Camry was about as smooth and silky as they come. I test drove the Lexus IS250, the Acura RL and the Infiniti G35x because I wanted AWD. By far the Infiniti was the best in terms of handling and fun. About a week after I bought it I started to have problems sitting in it for long periods of time. I read blogs that talked about the narrow support bar in the seat, and feared that I had made the wrong choice and that I'd be stuck with a car I couldn't drive! However, it's been four months now, and I guess my back side has finally adjusted, to the point that I can't wait to get in it and ride. For any of you who have had similar experiences, persistence will pay off and you will get used to it. I love this car, and I am going to be an Infiniti owner for years to come.

Most reliable car I've ever owned
This care is beautiful and has all the luxuries. I owned a Cadillac CTS prior to this Infiniti and I prefer this car without a doubt. Visibility was a problem in the CTS but not here. I bought it used with 19K miles and I've put less than 8K in 14 months. Never a minutes problem with it. I love this car. All controls are within easy reach. Simple navigation. Fantastic acceleration. Generous trunk room. Will surely purchase another one in the future.

Good looking but frustrating
I got a brand new 08' G35 journey with navigation, premium, and technology packages. White with tan and the wood trim. The acceleration is awesome and it's easy to drive in confined places and what not. The headlights give great visibility with the curve-illuminating xenon lamps. However, when I reached 25,000 miles the bluetooth would drop my calls, not pick my phone up at all and just completely glitch. The navigation never wants to work. You can enter the address 100 times and it will say "route calculation was unsuccessful" which isn't helpful at all when you're in a rush. Going back to the good, the leather doesn't get hot in warm weather, the heated seats work great as well as the dual-zone automatic climate control, you can adjust driver and passenger seats to sit up very high which give you maximum visibility, lumar support on driver gives extra comfort, leg room in back seat is larger and more comfortable than competitiors such as Lexus IS and BMW 3-series. Leg room is decent for a 6 foot person. Gas mileage is decent considering I am a led foot. However, I would recomend if getting the G to get the X for all wheel drive if you live in the north and get snow. The back up camera which came with the navigation package is extremelly helpful. The only things that need to be added and/or modified are the technology and cooled seats should be an option. Another negative, if you leave the back seat center fold down console down it leaves marks in your seat which isn't good looking. Trunk space is decent considering it is a sports sedan. The intelligent cruise control is not worth the money because it's annoying when you get a certain distance behind a car it decelerates. I don't think it was worth the money. For being fully loaded with the exception of the sport package I believe, it was a good buy. Other competitiors were more expensive with the same equipment mine has.

G35s Sedan 6MT, awesome sports sedan
I was looking for a RWD, manual transmission sports sedan with decent rear room, and the G35s fit the bill perfectly. Compared to the class leading 3-series BMW (which G35 is closely matched to), I actually preferred the drive and interior of the G35s, not to mention that it is more affordable. I am extremely picky about cars, and test drove almost everything in this class and decided on the G35s by a wide margin for the following reasons. -More rear room than BMW, Lexus IS. -Outstanding handling, amazing braking 60-0 is in 160 ft range, amazing for a car this size (or most sizes!) -In 328i ballpark of price, but with almost the power of a 335i, and much more options than same priced 328i. -Interior is really comfortable and the sport seats are perfect. -smooth enough and quiet enough to move the family around comfortably, but aggressive enough to be a ton of fun when alone. - 0-60 in 5.4 sec, and tons of power through all the gears, pulls like a rocket and feels like a much smaller car than it is. Easy to run in high gear at slow speed when you are forced to since the powerband is so big. There are trade-offs in all cars, and the G35 is no exception, the negatives are the following, but they were all relatively minor. - Clutch takes some getting used to, its got a little dead space, then a quick grab near the top when it engages. Its not as linear as some clutches so you might find it tricky at first. However, after a few miles you adjust and its actually excellent and easy to use. Your feet learn the motion of quick out through the dead space and then feather at the top, managing the throttle gently will help as well, and again becomes second nature. Actually test drove an 335i stick after owning the G35 for 1500 miles and I hated the BMW clutch, it was dead and lifeless, harder to takeoff smoothly, and the car overall did not FEEL as powerful or sporty even though it is, so its all a matter of getting used to it. -The electronic gadgets, specifically the harddrive and CF card reader are pretty much just gimmicks since you cant really save MP3 files directly, a minor point though, the nav and the stereo are otherwise excellent. - Gas mileage is not good, and there are other 300+HP cars that do indeed do better, but I knew this going in. The Automatic in 2009 up G37 though is 7 speed and will do much better, if long highway romps are in your schedule. I just cant stand any autos, and have driven the G37 auto and hated not having a clutch, just me though. Conclusion: I love this car, its comfortable, extremely fast and the handling with the S - package is unbelievable. So good, that daily driving is almost boring since its hard to test the limits of this car in normal driving! Tap the throttle a little though and the grins will come back :). It feels much sportier and fun to drive than the BMW 3-, its more poised eager to go, its like its always urging you to be a little naughty, the BMW on the other hand, is there when you need it, but only when you call to it, its more subdued feeling till you thrash it, even the 335i with more power. Very Satisfied overall with the car and am really happy I went out of my way to find a rare manual G35 sedan and if given the same priced and equipt BMW with the same rear seat room, I would still take the G35s over the Bavarian, even though I was a die hard German and Italian car guy before this car.

Puts a smile on my face every day
I thoroughly enjoy my G35. As a loyal Nissan driver, I was ready to step up in class and chose a 2008 Infiniti G35. I have no regrets! The interior is well put together, with comfortable seating and numerous luxury features like dual climate control system and hard-drive based navigation. I also have the premium package which features a premium sound system with ten speakers, bluetooth technology and other assorted bells and whistles. Under the hood is a 3.5L V-6 with power to spare. Need to merge in quickly from the entrance ramp ramp? No problem at all. While it's not a Ferrari, it will get you from 0-60 in 5.4 seconds - plenty fast for your daily commute. Braking and handling are also excellent - with ABS and all the other things you'd expect. In summary: Cons: - Gas mileage could be better (I'm average about 20 MPG combined) - Voice controlled navigation quirks (System has some trouble understanding city names - this is easily overcome by using the touch screen to input info) Pros: - Premium system (Love the factory bluetooth and premium sound. If you can afford it, don't buy a G35 without this package!) - Engine and handling (Can't say enough about this car's quickness and handling) - Styling and looks (Beautiful car, inside and out) The G35 is good looking and fun to drive. It also has the bells and features you'd expect in a luxury vehicle, for a lot less than your neighbor's BMW.

Great Car!
Bought a G35xS with 50k miles on it (2008). Chose Gray with light Gray interior, as it stands out. The good: Paddle Shifters, Power (low end torque issues - managable), 18" wheels, lumber control in driver seat Features - navigation is good, BOSE sound system is amazing (on-board HD for music). Seat warmers Aluminum trim is stunning Interior and exterior styling are superb. My insurance went up little from my 05 Sentra The bad: Had wheel sensor broken - fixed for $200, Front brakes were gone $300 MPG 19-24 (I live in Chicago suburb) I'm excited so far.
