Most fun I've had with 4 doors

I purchased my '06 G35 sedan and was immediately blown away by its performance. Most car enthusiasts know the pedigree of the G35/37, as it is sold in Japan as the Nissan Skyline GT350/370 respectively. However in the states, it is marketed more as a luxury car than a sports sedan, which is truly a shame. That being said, the FR version of the car sits firmly into the turns as I quickly accelerate through my local twisty Colorado canyon roads, while the tuned exhaust of the 280hp 6 cylinder roars with its low guttural growl. A grocery-go-getter this car is not. In fact, most owners of this car will eventually find themselves driving with all the windows and moon-roof open just so they can listen to the sound of the tuned exhaust. It looks are rather unassuming with its seriously toned down demeanor since the 2003 overhaul, but the spirit of the car remains intact. And quite frankly, there is something to be said for being able to blow the doors off 95% of the cars on the road, especially the teeny-bopper ricers with their uber spoilers and diffusers. The need for a 4 door car does not mean you have to give up fun or performance. And the heated seats, dual zone A/C, 5 speed auto, and leather interior do it all while keeping you comfortable. Did i mention the heated lumbar support? very nice for long drives... While considering this car, I drove an '05 350xi, an 06 350GS, and an 06 A4 convertible. Hands down, this is the better car for the money with a solid 100bhp over the competition and better handling, save for maybe the 350xi. That however is negligible, especially considering just how much more car this is than the BMW. I generally only drive my cars for 2-3 years before I decide to swap it out and I'm not saying that this car will change that, I am however willing to say that my next car will be another g35/37... Probably the hard top convertible. I am in love, and have new found respect for Nissan.

Great Infiniti

My 2006 Infiniti G35X is an excellent vehicle. The car handles very well and has excellent acceleration. I would definitely purchase another Infiniti.

Love this car

SHARP SHARP SHARP! Entertained a mustang but to get decent HP was going to have to throw a lot more money into it and let's face it, there's a LOT of mustangs driving around, I like the G's style and uniqueness. After test driving it I had to have it. Decided a sports car was the way to go though I like muscle cars too. The G35 comes standard w/all the bells and whistles you're going to have to pay to get on a muscle car and it's impossible to figure out what a mustang is worth due to the dozens of packages out there. Only regret is not buying it sooner! The Pearl White & gray interior was hard to find but well worth the wait. The frame feels pretty stiff which isn't an issue unless you hit a bump while turning a corner then the rear end can hop a bit. The Bose package is great and the premium wheels are a must, they fill the fenders up nicely. The wheels are staggered so if you keep the factory set-up there is no rotating the tires. Torque and HP is there throughout all of the gears so passing on the highway is a cinch, no lag in cruise mode on hills, etc. The auto headlights & heated seats have spoiled me rotten. Don't know how it does in bad weather but I had a stick shift pick-up for 8 years so I'm sure it'll be fine. This car will pamper you :)

Nice car, but VERY harsh ride...

There are a lot of things I like about this car. But the ride is so bad, I will probably not keep it...

Great car

I was originally thinking of getting an Altima since I have a couple of family members that have them. My business partner told me to look at the G35. It is so much faster, better looking, and more comfortable. Only thing I did not like is it did not have an audio jack for my ipod or sirius. I put a Sony radio I had from another car and kept the speakers. Sounds amazing now.

2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe

Great car. Great handling. If you want the looks and feel of a sports car for cheap, this is the car for you. I would recommend buying a used one because that costs a lot less.
