Perfect farm vehicle for a City Girl Farmer

I purchased my first Hyundai about 1991 when I decided to try a new car brand that used a mitsubishi motor. That was an Excel, followed by an Elantra, a Tucson, a Santa Fe and now back to a 2017 Tucson. Friends who hit their head in other vehicles because of the low roof have no problems with the Tucson. With the hatchback and folding rear seats, I can put many potted plants or bags of soil in for my gardens or feed for the chickens or dogs. I had been looking at the ECO model but after test driving an ECO and a SE and talking to the dealership's mechanic about the engines, I decided that the SE engine would give me better performance and gas mileage for the way I drive; I am currently getting 30.8 mpg on the highway. I had 137,000 miles on the Santa Fe and had only a battery and starter changed in the 7 years I owned it. As for safety, I have walked away from 2 accidents (the Elantra and Santa Fe) that totalled the vehicles. It is strong enough to pull the riding lawn mower out of the ditch and classy enough to take friends to elegant concerts or trips.

Seems very safe.

Love the height - easy access to enter and leave the vehicle, very comfortable. Great car for me. Would recommend to anyone. What else can I say, but I like it.

Great Small SUV

This SUV has been great so far since my purchase. It was everything I was looking for. Spacious back seat, especially for my child?s car seat and for others to fit in the back as well. It drives very smooth and has great pickup on the highway. I like the fact that it?s also good on gas and comparable to my last car which was much smaller.
