I really like this car!
I've had my Sonata GLS for 15 months now, and I have just a tick over 20,000 miles on her. I have to say that this car has exceeded all my expectations! I truly enjoy this car - in fact - I like my Sonata so much I bought a 2007 Santa Fe for my wife! At first I was very apprehensive about buying a Hyundai (a friend recommended it to me - but I was skeptical - and scared to death to buy a HYUNDAI!). I did about three months of research on the internet, and I talked to many Hyundai owners before making the decision to buy. The bottom line is that I decided that I would be stupid not to buy a Hyundai! I narrowed my choices for a new car down to either a Nissan Altima or a Hyundai Sonata. The Sonata won my vote in virtually every catagory. I like the value, comfort, the ride, the fit and finish, the paint (best paint job I've ever owned), the warranty and the fuel economy. I opted for the I4 engine because this car would be my daily driver and I wanted mpg's over hp - but I am not disappointed in the I4's power at all. I average about 28 mpg's (city and highway) and I can easily get 33+ on the highway. I never thought I could like a car as much as I like my Sonata - but I really do like this car. I've owned my share of new and used vehicles over the last 28 years - but my most favorite vehicles are my two Hyundai's because they are such an exceptional value and they look and drive awesome! I would definitely buy another Hyundai if they continue doing what they are doing.

Great Family Car From the H
I am happy to comment on the facial expressions my father (who owns a toyota avalon) had when he saw my 2007 Sonata. I tell you, he was happy to see that I could afford a better car than his! Even when I payed 15 K less than he did. If you are in the market for a serious good sedan, make sure to test drive the Sonata as I found it's a great value and looks great too! I have high confidence in the quality of the Sonata.

Excellent car
I have owned the 2007 Sonata Limited for one month and can say it has done nothing but impress me. I have owned Hondas prior to the Hyundai and this car is a much better value with top quality. The V-6 gets 22 to 23 mpg around town.

I Love this Car!
What a car! I have owned three Toyotas and one Mazda. They are all fine cars. But this Hyundai GLS is really nice. It runs great, and I have been averaging 30 miles per gallon on overall driving. The engine is quiet and smooth. The car is comfortable. The controls are easy to access and use. The interior is attractive and very functional. I considered the Honda Accord, but it was going to cost at least $1,500 more, and I consider the Sonata to be at least its equal in quality. Take a serious look at this car. If you buy it, you will not be disappointed.

Why pay more when you can get ALL for less
I think the main issue for Hyundai is the name! Still many people prefer to say Toyota or Honda when you ask bout the car they drive. Previous reviews mentioned most of pros. My EX has 2000 miles after 3 months driving. No problem of any kind with this car. I'd recommend to think twice before paying a high price tag for a Toyota or Honda ... Give the sonata a try then decide

Quick & quiet! (4 cyl.)
I bought the 4 cyl. three weeks ago and I'm getting 26 mpg everyday and 32 mpg on a long hwy drive. This is before the first oil change! I got the base GLS model with the auto transmission as the only option. That being said, the car is loaded. It has more power than my '96 Olds which has a 3.1L V6. The Sonata gets better mileage, smoother ride and has more room also. My problem is trying to figure out how to afford to trade in the Olds for another Sonata.

First foreign car, so far so good
This car is so far superb. I have the SE and its loaded with features you would find in maybe a Lexus, but about 15k cheaper. Well refined vehicle. Been a GM owner (Saturn, Buick) for years. Got tired of the poor build quality an decided to try something different this go round. Liked the Honda, but have a tall family and needed more room, and the Sonata is definetly larger. And you cannot beat that Warranty hands down.
