2017 Hyundai Accent consumer reviews

After 60k miles check engine light came on and off at times. At 100k all of a sudden slow acceleration high rpm gear slipping. Mechanic diagnosed need transmission replacement 4k. Gave it away as junk

Am 2nd owner * bought from Hertz with 41,000 miles * then had a complete checkup * oil was black * Hertz did a number on me, when looking @ their check out list. Car is about average, with a few quirky items * no lock on passenger side * no rear wiper * rear view mirror won't stay put * overly complicated dash controls * seat material burns too easily from cigarette ash * Hertz rubber floor mats from another model * glove box should be level when opened * dashboard needs an edge to hold small items * am 93, drive about 3,000 mi/yr * car front too low - too easy to hit curb * driver window good * other 3 windows constantly fail & need fixing * tire warning light flash, even though pressure is OK * trunk good for large items with rear seats folded * all in all OK car for me...

Bought a 2017 hyandai accent. Have to replace transmission at 66000 miles. No warranty because Iam 2nd owner. Apparently this is a big problem with the accent. The shop doing my transmission said he replaced one at 23000 weeks before. No warranty either because it had a salvage title. Hyandai should do a recall on these cars

This car is great on gas mileage and handles good this vehicle is very reliable and also sporty I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a gas saver

Hyundai wouldn’t warranty the transmission replacement at 65,000 miles because I was the second owner of the vehicle. This tranny has been a big issue, but instead of the company doing the right thing because it is the right thing to do, they stick their customers with their equipment malfunction. I was informed by one of the execs in CA, “Paulina” because I was the second owner they wouldn’t warranty their faulty product. Who has to replace an entire transmission at 65k? Now I have to file a report against the dealership who sold me a car without telling me it was a prior rental car. Ugh!!!! I will NEVER own another Hyundai and will spend every day when able sharing this story!

Bought a 2014 Accent new, had it for 5 years and 60,000 miles. Someone hit me and totaled it but during the time I owned it I never had one mechanical problem, only routine except for the bubbling tint on back window which seems to be a common problem with Hyundai. Just bought a 2017 Accent and couldn’t be happier.

This is a great car for an older lady who just wants to be able to go and have her independence looking forward to trying it out in the winter

Great car. It's beautiful and has a smooth ride. I like the size and the color. I thas a smooth ride. i love it. Our salesman Spencer Newsome was a wonderful salesman.

I chose not to think about this car, but to experience it! It is like stepping into the future for me. That is why I bought it. It is a dream come true fo me!

It's an all over good car. More options with the stereo would be good, like bluetooth. But other than that I'm satisfied. Very good economy car.
