2007 Honda Pilot consumer reviews

Overall I really love this car. With two kids and about to start on our third next year we needed something bigger than a small sedan. I have heard great things about this car so we persued it. Just took it from MD to NC for it's first big trip and fit 2 kids, 2 adults and 3 families luggage in it. Only downfall was the transmission broke 3 hours from home and vehicle only has 42,000 miles! I have heard Hondas are known for fault transmissions. Hopefully I do not experience any other problems or I may get rid of it. Other than that I have no complaints really other than minor stuff such as the radio buttons being akward and the seats could be a tad bigger.

I own 3 Honda products -- Ridgline, Pilot, and CR-V. I would rate all 3 as 5 star! The Pilot has extremely comfortable ride and excellent handling.

I have a young family of four - and this car is PERFECT for us. Not only does it have room for the kids and other people too, but it's cushy as a luxury car (we got the EX-L) but with the power of a sports car. We couldn't be happier. And our Honda dealer gave us great service and a solid/fair price.

Honda pilot with navigation,well when I first got it I loved it, but sooner I discovered that although it is a GREAT vehicle it may not have all the best features in the world, for example the passenger seat is not automatic I did not really like that, over all it is a great vehicle and i would recommend it, definitely.

Typical Honda quality- which is to say, "Great" and "Dependable". No glitz or worthless frills- which is to say, "Functional". Looks nice. Drives well. Handles better than some cars. Decent fuel economy, if not towing. Performance is OK, but a few more ponies couldn't hurt. AWD is fabulous for those areas that get snow. Easily seats 8, but those in the third row better not be 6 ft tall. Will likely replace this vehicle with another Pilot, when it reaches 110K miles (currently, 60K).

We recently bought this suv and are nothing but satisfied with it. We would definitely recommend it.Of course we had to go with the top of the line ex-l.

We recently purchased a 2007 Pilot EX-L RES. Great car so far. I drive an CR-V w/176K on it, expect to do even more on the Pilot. Great for travelling. Gives me great comfort with all the safty features it has. I feel my wife and daughter are up and out of the way. Love it so far!

Love the vehicle for all its features and quality. Had only a few minor items fixed during warranty period,but nothing I would complain about. Had an Odyssey and it is a bit bigger, but was not offered with 4WD so this vehicle works better for us, as we have many family members we travel to see in the Christmas season. Holds 5 people comfortably, and will do 8 in a pinch (we put the kids in the back seat and they fit with no trouble.)

I waited 5 years to buy the Pilot because I knew it was a big purchase. We bought ours in June of 2007. Absolutly loved it. 2 weeks ago I was rearended sitting in traffic, (she was going 55) and it was a total loss. The paramedecs raved about how my vehicle held up in such a collision and my air bags deployed. My friend and my daughter were with me and not a one of us had an injury. I have owned 5 Hondas and this is my favorite and I also feel very safe in it. Needless to say I am purchasing another Pilot this week.
