2019 Honda Odyssey consumer reviews

We just bought the Odyssey. We were hesitant to go with a van, but finally pulled the trigger. Best decision ever. Really cool instrumentation and technology. Very comfortable for all passengers.

This stunning vehicle is an exceptional ride and is loaded with many high tech features. I really love the electronic side mirrors that fold inward, the acoustic windshield and 12 speaker stereo.

I had the Odyssey TOURING model. Different Transmission then the Odyssey EX-L. Does not handle as well at all. Not great on turns, the transmission slips from Drive to Slow. Android Auto stops working and then you cannot get it back up. So essentially NO NAVIGATION

Just bought new odyssey 2019 last month and driving within 300 mile. Today when I was leaving a parking lot, and one vehicle is backing up unattendedly towards my car. I immediately press the horn but it fail to work. With a panic, very luckily, the driver finally braked his car before almost hit my car. Then I drove my Odyssey to nearby, and test the horn many times, it did no work!!! Terrible experience!!! Honda sold me a new odyssey which horn can not work!! When I tested the new car, i tried everything, but did not try horn because i never imagine that a new car will have horn problem!! Honda quality is doubtable.

I love all the design features on the inside of the car. So many upgrades from my last 2002 Odyssey! Backup camera, lots of room, iPhone integration, it’s all good!

Loved the van BUT, our older Odyssey allowed us to walk under the rear deck door. If you are taller than 5 feet eigh inches, you are going to get a serious headache.

I am enjoying my new car including features: USB ports, easy to move seating, removable 2nd row console, memory and heated seating and the roominess throughout

The mini van is very spacious and comfortable. I was very impressed by the way it drives. you feel like you are driving a luxury car and not a mini van.

We upgraded from a 2014 Odyssey to this... Few things I liked on the previous van are missing or not as good on this one... 1. The backup and side cameras have a lower quality image, especially in the dark. 2. The rear entertainment screen is always in the view of the rear view mirror. Not sure if they lowered the roof line on this one. 3. The driver's side seat belt is very hard to latch on with the armrest down. Passenger side is fine so I think it's something to do with the length of the latch. 4. I miss the auto eco mode. Putting the vehicle in econ all the time robs it of power and is not a good driving experience. 5. Not sure why in this day and age, all the light bulbs couldn't have been LED. 6. The remote for the RES doesn't lock into the screen like before. Another thing to lose with the kids. 7. I am not completely sold on the electronic shifter. 8. Why would you only offer grey fabric in the lower models, for what is essentially a vehicle for people with kids. Everything else is a wonderful upgrade and the vehicle is really nice to drive.

I was one of those that said "I'll never drive a minivan!" Then...I drove a Honda Odyssey and realized what I have been missing!! A plethora of cupholders, automatic sliding doors, multiple options for seat layouts, the CabinTalk feature that allows me to talk to my kids through their headphones, etc. etc etc. I LOVE my van!
