Pricey, even for used, but worth it
My wife chose a mini-van over a SUV simply for the fact that the seating configuration is always accommodating(even in the third row) and because of the sliding doors making it easier for the kids to get into and out of. The only complaint is that even buying a used(2006) Touring edition, the price was still $26,000 with 34k miles. Well worth it and certainly better than the $42k asking price of a new Touring edition!

Nearly perfect!
This is the best car I've ever had -- EXL model. This van drives like a car -- very sporty feel, and easy to maneuver. Wonderful sound system (has DVD). Seats in all rows are very comfortable, and I love the lumbar support in the driver's seat. My kids absolutely love it! What would give it a perfect rating from me are the following: 1. Telescoping steering wheel (I have kind of short arms!) 2. Second row seats that are a bit easier to flip forward to climb in the back -- it's a bit awkward as is 3. I would appreciate a "lock" button in the cargo area so I wouldn't have to struggle w/ my key to lock the car after taking out groceries. (This was a great feature in my 12 year-old Ford van!)

Big dissapointment from Honda
Our family is a family of six. With lots of sports and places to go our van has to be very reliable. We have an EX-L model with DVD. After owning the van for 4 years it has over 113000 miles on it. The engine started sounding weird and hasent sounded the same again. The brakes sound weird also. The dealer said it was fine. The A/C lights just recently went out. The power sliding doors are very slow and makes a very annoying squeeking sound. It feels like its going to fall apart right underneath us. We will NEVER buy another Honda again. We are looking at the Chevy Traverse right now and it looks a lot better. Deffenetly go with American made from now on. I expected more from honda and the price we paid for. WATCH OUT!

Honda Odyssey Touring
Amazing car especially with the GPS and DVD player. Great car, runs great, we been all over with this car. Has a lot of power if you give it some gas. Mileage is amazing, and great for the family. A lot of storage in the back, and best car I have ever had. I'm most likely going to get the new 2011 version when its out, but this car is best of its class, hands down.

Most versatile family vehicle
I have had my 2006 Honda Odyssey for 4 years and still love it. It is convenient and comfortable for long trips for the whole family. You can change the seating arrangement to meet your needs. I have surprised many people with the capacity with the 2nd row seats removed and the third row seats folded down. I easily put a full size futon in the back to transport and a variety of other furniture. I have traveled cross country with the back packed and the kids in the second row seats. The rear entertainment system is very handy for entertaining children on long trips. One of my favorite features is the built in sunscreens in the sliding doors. They are a blessing, especially if you have a baby. The sunscreen easily slides into the door when it isn't needed. I also love the fact that the second and third row seats are very comfortable for adults. I am 99% satisfied with this van. If I could change anything, it would be to add automatic lights, maybe daytime driving lights. The shuffle on the 6 CD changer only shuffles for one CD and that is inconvenient. I would like to see it shuffle all of the CDs or have the ability to play MP3 CDs. The optional XM radio is proprietary. The odd shape of the Stereo system makes it difficult to use an aftermarket product. I love the fact that the driver's side window can automatically roll up as well as down. Heated seats and side mirrors are a blessing. This vehicle is loaded with storage spaces and cup holders. If I had the choice again, I would definitely buy this vehicle again without hesitation.

Good buy
I bought Odyssey (EX-L) in Oct 2009 as a certified vehicle. It's been 3 months since we've owned the van. Would have liked few things to do better. The van is not very stable when the speed is between 35-45 mph & shakes a bit. Once it goes above that it is very smooth & not much noise on the highway. Overall I'm happy with it so far.

Expected Better from Honda
I bought this vehicle expecting it to last for a long time. But im not even sure if it going to lat another year. The window whistels at town speeds. The buttons in the van dont seem to be in the right place. The brakes were bad from the star. But we absolutley love the lazy susan in the floor. We also have plenty of space in the van. But overall very dissapointed! Should of bought the chevy uplander. But unfortunatatlly we are stuck with this.

Fabulous vehicle
I bought a 2006 Odyssey EXL (used) as we required more space with the dog and all. We owned 2007 & 2008 Civic, which we love, but needed more space. This van does not dissapoint in any way! The ride is fabulous, like being in first class on an airplane. Seats are as comfortable as it gets and the ride is very smooth. This van drives like a car and has very good handling. It is very quiet with very little road noise. Tons and tons of room and very good on leg room in all three rows. The sound system is quite good. All instrument gauges are very visible and the controls are easy to use. The air conditioning works great and I love the tri-climate control system. Now I can be cool and my wife doesn't need a blanket for our trips! The only bugaboo I have is with the sliding doors...they creak alot, so I will get to the dealer to see if this can be fixed. Maybe just an adjustment required. I can't understand all the complaints out there. I don't think you can find any better van on the market today! Oh by the way, fuel economy is excellent for this vehicle. I just put 600 km on the last tank and still had 1/4 of a tank left. This trip was highway and city combined, so when you do the math about 26 miles per gallon! So I would think on an all highway driving trip I would get about 28 miles per gallon which is at the top of Honda's EPA estimates. Love this van and look forward to many years of pleasurable driving experience.

Awesome - yes a minivan can be awesome
All the practicality you expect from a minivan, in a stylish package. Power sliding doors on both sides, third row folds flat to create tons of space in the back. Drives like a sedan. Comfortable interior. There is nothing I don't like about this vehicle, and this is coming from a guy who was dead-set against buying a minivan beforehand.

No regrets
Best vehicle ever owned. It's reliable, no trouble, and convenient. Love the accesories and features especially the 2nd row windows and the center child seat. Lots of storage area. No need to use the lazy susan.
