2002 Honda Civic consumer reviews

I currently have this car that fits my budget, great car as the first time buyer, I have no complaints since I got this on March 10, 2017, high miles, 234k and still runs like new. What I like the most are gas economics, and the comfortability of driving. Of course it has wear and tear on some parts but it's an easy fix. Only downside I have for a coupe, there is no arm rest console but armrest. But it's surprisingly roomy for the back seat. My friends can easily hang out in the back or even sleep on it. I absolutely love this car! My favorite feature is the alert that informs me that I forgot to turn off the headlights. I absolutely love that!

I owned this car for 12+ years. It was a nice car, reliable for a while, and it got me everywhere I needed to go for a long time. After 150K was put on it many different problems occurred. Such as; alternator, battery, cat converter, exhaust, o2 sensors, wheel bar rings, and lots of other small parts. I got into an accident which caused me to trade the car in. It was good for a while, but once one thing went wrong or broke, many others followed.

This is the 3 door SI model with the new at the time 2.0L (K20) engine. Stick shift location is great on the dash. I come from floor shift cars and it is comfortable and give you more room on the center console. The seats have good lumbar for racing bucket style seats. They hug you and it is a nice feeling. The 2.0L with the heavier weight doesn't make the car seem faster than any of the older models so the performance feeling is lacking a bit. They switched to a true MacPherson strut combo up front which paired with the electric assist give it a slight disconnect with the road. The sway bars could be a bit stiffer. Other than this the car is nimble and steering is very quick. The interior is plastic but nice with nice accents. I have 110K miles on the car and only had general 100K maintenance done. Like most Hondas the engine is solid and could do cross country trips easily as long as the keep and eye on the oil level. They all tend to use some.

Meets the needs of what we wanted the car for . Reliable and runs good considering the age and the mileage..

Perfect for a high school/college student. Easy on gas, maintenance was easy, lots of trunk space and the backseat was spacious enough for my 2 babies. Had to give it up because my family expanded!

This car was very reliable . A great commuter car. I drove it all over town local and long distance driving. It served me well for 15 years .

Car was well taken care of , last until 280xx. Rocker arm went out, rockerarm going out means more

Just needs timing belt and timed and put back together it's fast fun it's a 5 speed spoiler sunroof nice fast little car

Still has miles and years left in her. I would recommend a Honda to anyone. Would buy again myself. Safety and features are important to me and this vehicle has both.

Honda cars are always reliable cars. That is why so many people prefer it. Driving it so far has shown me to why it is so reliable. It has treat me well.
