Exceeding my expectations
Purchased a 2016 Accord Sport in Kona Coffee Brown at the end of July. I had changed jobs and my commute went from 10 miles round trip to 75 miles round trip. With longer commute and a kid on the way, I needed something that was a "jack of all trades" vehicle with size, fuel economy, and having some performance. The 2016 Accord Sport has very good fuel economy and performance for the price. Going into my test drive, I thought I was going to have to convince myself that this was a car I needed instead of a car I wanted. My test drive and ownership experience have been beyond my expectations. Performance wise, this 4 cylinder engine has had no issues getting up to speed on the highways. The car is surprisingly nimble considering the size of it. Some people found the seats in the Accord to be uncomfortable. I've got about 1000 miles on the car already and haven't had any issues. The seats in the Sport trim keep you supported thanks to the power Lumbar support option on the Sport. Some people have complained of road noise. The car is very quiet overall. So quiet that anything out of the ordinary stands out. I think that's the case here. There is a little high pitched road noise coming from the 'B' pillar near the window at highway speeds. It's not a lot of noise, just higher pitched. The noise seems to change as the road surface changes, so this could be some tire noise coming through. You can also help negate this by increasing the treble setting on the stereo (which is set to a flat default setting). Fuel economy. My first tank averaged just over 30 mpg overall. My second tank was over 33mpg overall. I've had some commutes where I got over the 35 mpg rating (with econ mode on). Those trips were mid tank with regular gas and running the AC. I think this car is well worth the price. Especially if you can lock in a lower price through a website. Most seem to be pricing the car between $22,800 and $23,500. I also highly recommend the Kona Coffee color. It looks very sharp and has gotten some compliments from others.

Nice car
Overall great car. It has all kinds of wonderful electronic features to be able to use with smart phones. Unfortunately, this particular model does not support my phone, so all those great features are rendered useless.

Best Bargain Sedan 2016 Honda Accord
I saw the new Accord and thought it looked a lot like a BMW 5 Series which is a beautiful car. I went to the Honda dealership and saw the Accord Sport and fell in love. Very sporty, black sport stitched seats and door panels, rear spoiler, 19" wheels. I actually think it looks better than the BMW. Of course its doesn't have the power of the BMW....it also doesn't cost an arm & a leg to service. And at less than 1/2 the price, I'm extremely happy.

Very Happy New Car owner
This car is an excellent brand car! Pleased with every detail. My salesperson Mike had Excellent Customer Service as well as all others at this dealership. I would recommend the dealership and Salesperson to Family and Friends! And welcome the opportunity to do so in the future. I can not say enough about how perfect this car drives and operates about this make and model of car, but the Customer Service over a several day period was EXCELLENT!!!! Very important when making a Large Purchase. I felt only honesty and forthright communication the entire time. This dealership was referred to me, word of mouth and am so very happy to state the above.

Longtime Honda Owner
I bought a new Honda Accord since my old Honda lasted 16 years without any mechanical problems until the transmission acted up during the 17th year. During the test drive, I was surprised to note that my new 4 cylinder model had far more power with considerably better gas mileage than my used car. Since I am short, I love the 10-way adjustable driver's seat since it can adjust to any height or position. A huge selling point was all the new safety features, esp. the back-up camera and the side blind-spot camera. If you keep the small transmitter in your pocket, I like the ability to lock and unlock the car as well as start the car without a key. Looks are important and my new Honda looks great inside and out with a roomier interior. I was blown away by my upgraded radio with 7 speakers since music stations now sound like a mini concert hall. The new mags and theft protection are a nice feature. Another nice feature is that the doors lock automatically once my speed reaches 10 mph. The trunk has a lot of room to spare and does not require a key as long as you keep the small transmitter in your pocket. I was pleasantly surprised to note that my steering wheel not only tilts but telescopes in and out. I appreciate that my new Honda keeps road noise to a bare minimum. Although my new car has a lot of bells and whistles not yet mentioned, I value it for its safety, reliability, comfort, smart styling and great gas mileage.

2016 Honda Accord Sport, White, 6-Speed Manual Tra
We had to go all the way from Porter Ranch, CA to Fairfield, CA (50 miles from Sacramento) to get this car. There were only two of the exact model I wanted and this dealer matched the pricing from the Auto Club and several other buying services. The car is exactly what I wanted and the dealer (Steve Hopkins Honda) more than met every expectation we has as regards the car and the buying experience itself.

Not going quietly in San Marino Red!
This car's days are numbered. The availability of a full size (OK, large mid-size) sedan with a manual transmission is nearly "non." Moved up from a manual sports compact with some curated performance upgrades (suspension/exhaust) to this, what I believe will be something softer and more mature. The 2016 Accord Sport 6MT is smooth and polished, beautifully built, commodious and quiet. The 6-speed is the most effortless and precise I've driven. A high volume dealer can help sort some of what is missing from the factory on this trim (heated leather seats) as accessory items. Don't let dealers affect a market adjustment on the car because of "rarity." 6MT Sports are only rare because the take rate is low. You can practically name your price and order it. The dealer will be happy not to have to finance it to sit on the lot. I am in the process of breaking it in slowly, but I will be reaching for that mid-6 second 0-60 soon enough. Wish me luck. For reference, in between purchasing and picking it up, I rented and drove a Mazda 6 (6sp auto) for a week on a business trip. True, the Mazda is a tighter handler, but it feels like a much smaller, narrower, less substantial vehicle in general, and other than in top trim I found its looks generic to the point of invisibility. Not so with my San Marino Red Accord Sport! No buyer's remorse here.

Reliable Transportation
This is actually my fourth Honda and the other three are still running well with well over 100K on each of them. The car is solid transportaion with good mileage and comfort. My only negative with the car is the Honda Car Play/Apple Play which is not what as easy to use as they lead you to believe, nor do at this point, do I see what it brings to the table over the entertainment/phone system in my 2013 Honda Accord. Woud I recommend it yes, is it my dream car, no, just great reliable transportation.
