2006 Honda Accord consumer reviews

I never have problems. I only had to change oil, put new tires, new brakes, and a new battery. I love the design and reliability.

I’ve owned many Honda’s, but never because one broke down on me. These cars run strong until something breaks, and even then the work is usually reasonable. This 2006 had great power, roomy interior, and all the creature comforts. Easily a car with no weaknesses. Starts up in the winter and gets ice cold in the summer. Buy one if you can.

I bought the car used with 120k miles. Fully loaded, leather sun roof heated seats power windows locks. I paid $6100. The car was 10 years old and driven only highway miles

I bought this car used, expecting a low-maintenance, long-lasting car like my Toyotas. I certainly never expected to have to replace the transmission, but that's the facts. I overpaid (my fault) but will try to sell it as a fixer. Disappointing outcome for a Honda.

I absolutely loved this car I would still have it if my ex hadn’t wrecked it and totaled it. Had over 289,000miles and still looked brand new.

It is in great condition, runs perfect, luckily it’s a 2006 with 12k miles on it brand new 13 year old vehicle I love it

This car is very comfortable, hurts to see it go since I got it not too long ago. But I know it will make someone else happy.

Total mileage 136,000 : 4 door This car is reliable with little maintenance . Leather seats .. well maintained. Only one owner Few scratches . Selling as is

I purchased this car, 4 door, 4 cylinder, SE trim, alloy wheels, certified used in 09 with an extended warranty from the Honda dealership. It has 166K miles and counting, on it and it has been very reliable for me and my small family. I've taken it up and down the State of CA more than twice a year and it has been a champ on long haul drives. It has never overheated or had any engine/transmission issues or broken down on me while on long road trips. Only time it was ever towed to the repair shop was when the starter went out and had to be replaced, which was around 100K miles. Other than that, all the repairs have been due to wear and tear, aging of parts. Big ticket items have been timing belt, new seals on the engine for oil, front suspension (because I live in a city with bad roads full of potholes) leaking a/c hose and leaking coolant valve. Breaks have been replaced twice, as with two batteries. Two new sets of tires. Replaced sagging headliner on the interior over the10 years of ownership. Other than that we have kept up with regular maintenance of oil changes and tire rotations and the car runs great. This car can easily go to 200K or more. It's a great car with the safety and reliability that Honda is known for. I haven't gotten rid of it yet because it's nice to not have a car payment and it has been a very good car in reliability, no room to complain there. It's still a smooth ride and I love using cruise control during the long drives. It has good gas mileage as well as good power for a 4 cylinder Vtec. And the 6 disc CD changer also still works! We don't have a good reason to let go of our old silver gal yet. Maybe in another year or two.

I have always liked these cars and this one was no different. It was it good condition for its age....in great shape mechanically and cosmetically in just very good overall condition.
