This truck is the base model and that is exactly what we

This truck is the base model and that is exactly what we were looking for. A good solid truck without all the fancy technology. It drives like a dream, handles just as well and the interior is sleek and well designed. Perfect black on black exterior.... a man's truck.

Failed transmission and full replacement

We have owned our GMC Sierra 1500 for approximately 9 years now. The only real disappointment with the vehicle is that we had to have a full transmission replacement Just after the 100k mile without any warning whatsoever. The truck now has 107k miles on it and now , again out of nowhere, we are experiencing slipping in the trans and the engine light is now flashing. Very disappointing since we are starting to feel uncertain about the reliability of the vehicle now. The truck itself is gorgeous and shows ZERO signs of its age, sporting new rims and tires and a lifted body and no rust on the body at all. We hope there are no major issues with the engine as the vehicle has always been maintained as needed and on time for regular servicing at the dealership.

Nice GMC Sierra 1500 Denali.

I really like my nw, to me, 2015 GMC Sierra Denali. The salesman, Terrance Lin was very efficient, helpful and courteous. Thank you very much.

Do not buy to many problems

Truck hasn’t left me on the road but I’ve owned this truck for over a year and have already done 3k worth of work in the last 6 months including a new starter condenser transmission flush and new filter and fix rear end shield new coolant temp sensor thermostat a new screen and a new u-joint and a new battery and I probably have to do another 1k in repairs to get it perfect it’s like I fix one problem and then there’s another one and I still have transmission problem it used to shift hard but now it struggles to accelerate if you want a reliable truck get a ford or Toyota GM has to many problems and they do nothing about it

Recall problems

Have had many issues and recalls and now the transmission has been showing signs of slipping. This is a 4x4 and I have never used the 4-wheel drive. I there a recall on the transmission?

141,000 SLT Still Going Strong

SLT with most options. Purchased at 127k. Currently have 141k after 17 months of ownership. The tranny that came with it was not original. I have had to replace ball joints, a/c condenser, brakes, wheels, radiator, a battery and a starter. Can't complain at this mileage. This is one of the quietest vehicles I have owned (that includes Audi A8's) and it's shod with Cooper Discover AT3's that chomp through snow like my Toro snow thrower. I also replaced the stock halogen bulbs with LED's and what a difference! The interior is comfortable, and I did replace the drivers seat bottom cushion. The nav system sucks, it's not very intuitive and it isn't very good at mapping the best route. Besides, I use my sedan for long trips. Phone integration is a breeze. Radio surprisingly decent. Everything works as it should. It's easy to pop the kayaks in the bed and the ebikes on a carrier and head out for the weekend. When moving stuff, I have the 80" bed so I can fit loads of stuff under the hard tonneau cover. The interior still has NO squeaks or rattles. Amazing. The heated seats are slow to heat, and the heated wheel is slow to warm up. But this thing is such a beast in the snow and rain I don't want to drive anything else! All in all a very reliable, well-built, and for the genre a good-looking vehicle. People tell me all the time what a nice looking truck I have. It's stock. Thanks, GMC.

A pretty truck, but...

2015 Sierra SLT. A nice truck to drive down the road. It had nice power and surprisingly good on gas. However, every time I got into the truck I said "I hate this thing" to myself. The 4 wheel drive on demand is so slow to respond, by the time you are in the ditch, it is just engaging. A VERY scary thing to drive on slippery roads. Engage the 4x4 manually. I bought it to pull a 4400Lb trailer and the 5.3L would pull it up the mountain passes but got pushed all over the road going down. Definitely not enough engine for the mountains. Unfortunately GM's idea of the Grade Braking feature is riding the brakes down the mountain. A disaster in the making. The first time I used the Hill Decent feature it kicked out after 1 minute (maybe 10 degree grade @ 10 km/hr) and a notice appeared on the dash"Service Stablitrack" . One time it would not engage 4 wheel drive on a loose gravel slope at the lake, after half an hour of switching on and off and restarting, it finally engaged. If I used it as a transportation, it was okay, other than that it was disappointing. A very happy day when I sold it with 75000 kms on it.

I want my money back. Transmission problems since

Worse truck I have ever owned. Not reliable. Hard jerking and multiple repairs and recalls. I would never purchase another one. Nightmare from xxxx. Never again. Didn't get the car fax after asking if everything has been checked.

Stereo issues

My truck has been dead reliable. The 6.2l is awesome however the stereo interface is questionable. The interface changes by itself and always goes to the radio function when I am in the information mode.
