2014 GMC Acadia Denali purchased used
This vehicle was my 1st choice after looking for several months at different possible SUV choices. I previously owned a 2004 GMC Envoy as my utility vehicle used primarily to haul my golfing buddies and our clubs to play each week. It was also used to tow my Corvette race car to the track. I wanted something newer but I needed more seating and at least 5000 lbs. towing capacity. I also wanted the updated technology and safety features in a modern vehicle as well as more luxury than the Envoy. The GMC Acadia Denali fit my requirements best and offers much improved gas mileage. I found the low-mileage off-lease Denali in the color combination I wanted (white diamond pearl with cocoa dune leather) at a good price and made it mine. Since purchasing it I am very happy with everything except the Infotainment system... way too complicated... almost impossible to use while driving. Maybe I'll get used to it after a while but I miss the simplicity of my Envoy. But I love the design and the interior and the extra seating capacity and the gas mileage. Great car!

Perfect car for family of 5.
It?s perfect for our family of 5! More trunk space than a Tahoe! Handles great, plenty of room for all the kiddos. DVD player and captains chairs make it family friendly without the mini van look. Absolutely love this car and have owned 2. No problems what so ever with either vehicle.

Love my Acadia Denali!
The vehicle rides extremely smooth. The amenities are great! The only thing that is lacking is a quick pickup when accelerating. I'm she that is due to the weight of the vehicle. Everything else is above standards.

I love it!
I love this vehicle. The ride is extremely smooth. My husband has owned a few Lincolns and he says that the Acadia may be even better - without the air ride shocks. The heated front seats are warm and comfortable. The mid-row bucket seats recline and retract providing more leg room. And access to the far rear seating is easy by just walking between the bucket mid-row seats. The standard radio antenna is too tall for my garage door, so I replaced it with a Craven Speed Stubby which works great.

Great AWD
This vehicle is a great for a bigger family. Has all the bells and whistles and runs and drives great. Only complaint so far is the suspension is pickup like. Not as smooth and doesn't glide well over bumps and dips in the road like a car would.

Short term impressions
So far very happy with this car. Love the interior of my Denali trim. Love having second row captains chairs. Get up and go isn?t always the best but that?s not what I was looking for anyways. Family comfort- has it in spades.

Style and comfort good.
Comfortable and stylish but terrible mileage. One of the reasons I bought it is because the sticker said 20 something miles to a gal. I find that hard to believe it ever fid.

Stylish, with very roomy interior
I test drove the GMC Acadia SLT, the Ford Explorer, and Lincoln MKX. I ended up buying the GMC Acadia SLT. It is roomy with lots of leg room, bluetooth and backup camera, and 6 cyl. (why put a 4 in an SUV doesn't make since to me), lots of other extras that are expected in an SUV, including 3rd row seating (don't really need it, but it is nice to have.) The Explorer and Lincoln both had a lot more bells and whistles, but its a vehicle, it gets me to where I'm going in comfort without having to worry about the cost if some of those extras ever go out on me. Like my SUV, would get it again, lighter color would not show the dust as much, but a very stylish vehicle.
