Crappy car, jerky start
Don't like this car, do not buy this brand, model and year. Has dual shifting, which makes for a jerky start every time you stop and step on the gas. Not a popular year for this car.

Can you say LEMON!
About my Ford Focus and 2013 a new car straight off the lot within a month my transmission was slipping in less than two weeks after that the car was at the Ford Place having a new transmission installed. About 4 months after getting it back transmission started to slip again what are the major problems couple of days later back in the shop for another transmission. As they say the third time's the charm well this time it didn't last for a couple of weeks and and my car would say transmission overheating stop safely after stopping and putting my car in park it would say transmission hot wait 5 minutes I almost got killed on a major highway because my car stop pulling into the transmission was overheating! Ford says it was a sensor and had me bring the car in again now if you're having transmission sensors changed everything went good for about oh 4 years. And here we all are now 2019 all the six years later in the car 6 years old and it's having major transmission trouble again the car looks good, great gas mileage and as fast as xxxx for four-cylinder but the thing is a car can look good it can be fast it can be great on gas but if you can't get me where I'm going it's of no use to me so here I am 6 years later $20,000 gone looking for another vehicle! So if you want my honest review do not buy a Ford vehicle now this being said by a man who's been a Ford person his entire life but I will buy something else this time!!!

Sporty and reliable for a low budget
This vehicle has never failed me. It looks great, is fun to drive, it's safe and is very reliable. I have had it for almost 4 years and it still works great.

This is the worst car on this earth. all problems
My car has transmission problems; it has been "replaced" and still not functioning. I have called Ford and they refuse to acknowledge the problems. I have replaced the clutch twice plus the transmission. The problems still persist. The excuse Ford gave me was that my car already has 159000 miles and they wont do anything about it. I have spent thousands of dollars fixing this car. The car has been in the shop since Nov. 2018 it is now 7/23/19 and still not fixed. The new transmission wont take the software updates and it overheats when is driven. I would not want anyone to experience the problems I am having with this car. I want Ford to give me my money back or reimburse me what I have spent on fixing this car. I am too late to join the class action suit otherwise I would have joined in. PLEASE, PLEASE don't spend your money on a car like this one. You will regret it. am very frustrated. I wish Ford will contact me and offer some sort of help. I have called them numerous times begging them to help me but it is useless because according to them I have gone over the extended warranty.

First cool looking car ever owned.
This car met all our needs. It was a Titanium edition so it has all the bells and whistles. We had for 6 years and put 130,000 miles on it and never had to have major repairs, just the standard oil change, break change and tire change. Good years and road trips with that car.

This car is a constant maintenance nightmare
The car has many many recalls which ford doesn’t notify me of , have to go online to find it then argue with service to have recall service usually denied, will never buy another ford or car from that dealer

Great little car :)
I’ve had this car for four years it’s given me hardly any issues. Any big issues were covered under power train. The dual clutch is kinda goofy I had to get that replaced along with the TCM. However I didn’t pay a cent. Other than those little hiccups the car has been great now I have over 100,000 in the odometer hopefully I’ll have it for another 100,000 more. So far I’ve loved this car and would be devastated in another car haha!! The best feature is the gas mileage!!! My husband gets 42 MPG in it!!! It’s a pretty good little car I’m hoping to keep it for a long time :)

Best in class for Rally type drivers
got the SE model with the 5 speed tranny, handles great, great acceleration , comfortable on the long haul, gets up to 40 mpg highway, 33 around town, only drawback is trunk space but it fits golf clubs, suitcase and full size cooler.
