I bought my car with 3 miles on it in 4/2008. I now exceed 160k. I've done all of the maintenance since day one and have never had any serious issues with it. I had a huge crack in my radiator a few years ago, but it was 8 years old then. Anything I've ever fixed has only been fixed once. If I could find another new 2008, I would buy it in a heartbeat. My goal is 300k on my baby.

I love my 2008 focus. A gift from my Mom in 2009. I keep it better than new in 2019. I rely on Mobile One synthetic. Bought a '86 Mazda B2000 NEW. Drove for 22yrs. Switch out to Mobile One synthetic right after purchase.

Super dependable and fully serviced. Normal repairs done for its age. Solid Perrelli’s Tires, brakes, battery, and new AC. The one you can count on.

Purchased my 2008 Ford Focus in August to downsize from the SUV i was driving. I commute to school Mon-Fri about 45 minutes away from home. It is great on gas and only costs around $45-$50 if the gas prices are decent.

I purchased my 2008 Ford Focus in 2017. I obviously bought it used so I expected to have some issues. Mostly maintenance issues that weren't taken care of by the previous owner. It had a minor oil leak around the spark plugs. My husband took care of that himself. The tires, brakes and rotors were replaced at Firestone Automotive in October 2017. Then in August 2018 my coolant light came on while driving. It turns out that there is a leak somewhere. Now in October 2018 the powertrain light (orange wrench light) came on while driving. From reading reviews from other Focus owners it may be a problem with the throttle assembly. I will be taking it to the shop on Monday morning for a real diagnosis. I am starting to regret this purchase.

Bought this car brand new in 2008. I drove it hard until 2017. Only let me down once when the water pump let go at 99,000 miles. (I bought the 100,000 mike warranty thank god!) but other than that I never had another issue! Only knock on the exterior design is the door handles are a little wonky. I sold this car to my brother in law in March of 2017 with 210,000 miles on it and it?s still running strong today! I wish I never sold it.

My family has owned Ford my whole life. My boyfriend sold me his Focus and I fell in love. Currently looking for a new car and every Focus I've test driven has been wonderful!

I owned the Ford focus coupe. It was a cool, sleek, speedy car to get around the city. I loved the acceleration and the exterior design. Spacious for a coupe but the interior design could be better. Fairly reliable.

This car has served me faithfully and well for nearly 10 years; essentially it has been a go-to-school and Safeway ride, with the exception of two trips to New York City and one road trip to Miami. Even with those trips, the car only has slightly over 60,000 miles.

The car has performed well for over 10 years. The ride is a bit rough but so far no major repairs! Not the top of the line by any means but comfortable.
