It's Ok

I bought this car in August of 2016. I have the sedan version. I was really looking for a Jeep, but it wasn't good enough on gas for right now. Honestly, I don't love this car. It's good on gas and that's what I need, as I will be commuting to college. After that though, I'm getting rid of this car. It's too small. I'm 5'10, and barely fit. I cannot wear pumps and drive this car, or my knees hit the steering wheel (which is already up as far as it can go). My seat is all the way back as well. I don't find the seats very comfortable for long periods of time either. I will say that this car is excellent on gas, so if that's high on your list (as it was for me), you will be somewhat happy with this car. I get 35mpg around town, 40 highway. My car has just over 15,000 miles. When I bought it, it had just over 12,000, as it was a rental car. I love the red paint. I have 4 snow tires on it, but this car just doesn't do so well in the winter (Upstate NY). I wish it was 4WD, but that's something I can have in the Jeep I'm looking at. This car is fine for what I need right now, but I'm not going to keep it past college.

Great little car

I'll just start by addressing the only negative that some people find with this car. When I first bought, the transmission had some issues. There was a recall, and Ford replaced the transmission. Since then, I have had absolutely no problems. The Fiesta SE is a great compact car, the gas mileage is fantastic, and it comes with some great electronics like SYNC, USB ports, and bluetooth. Its a great car all around, in my opinion.

Fiesta ST

This car was built to handle. The turbo 4 brings plenty of low end grunt that pulls the car around a corner and the OEM Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires stick like glue. I bought this car primarily to use as a second daily driver and autocross car. I've yet to push it through the cones but I have no doubt that it will be tons of fun.

Frozen Tundra Fiesta

Love this car - I have the 2014 SE 5spd Manual hatchback - and with the windchill temps of -20, never have an issue with starting...spontaneous road trips have been filled with fun, no issues, love the interior lighting - Mileage is exceptional = and I love the color - Candy Blue !!

fiesta manual gear box terrible

The gear boxes are notchy, stiff, reverse is stupidly between gear 4 and 5 and easy to hit at 50mph!. Reverse starts to slip quickly, will not engage, and eventually will not reverse at all. Avoid Fiestas. For Ford to put such a box in one of their best cars shows contempt for customers.

2014 SE 5spd 1.0 litre -Very reliable

Love this little car, fun to drive, decent highway mpg. Perfect to zip around in. Purchased off lease a little over a year ago. No issues. Was worried about the 1.0 liter 3 cylinder engine, but, seems fine. This is not an interstate cruiser, but perfect for short trips. Love it, fun to drive.

First Ford, last Ford

Transmission was terrible. Stopping at a stop sign or traffic signal the wheels would race to grab the ground but keep spinning. I had to replace tires before 3500 miles. Better now that new chip inserted due to recall. Cheap, flimsy, useless back shelf. Fuel efficiency not as originally claimed; customers received a check for $150. Color worn off handle used to open driver's door.
