So far so good

I have had the vehicle for three weeks so far and no issues. Would have liked to have built in navigation and separate controls for driver and passenger air conditioning.

Awesome Truck

The new Ford Superduty trucks are amazing. Great styling and superb function. A real truck with great looks. Not some sissy truck like a GM or Ram. I would buy one again in a heartbeat.

100% Purchasing a 2017 or 2018 Ford F-250 Platinum

The F-250 Platinum has everything I could ask for in more in a truck. I drive 4,500 - 5,500 miles per month. My work truck essentially serves as my office as well as a form of transportation. The F-250 Platinum provides not only style and comfort but functionality with the 360 Camera for Towing Applications, Lane Assist etc. Can't wait until a Black 2017/2018 F-250 Platinum with the Masala or Black Interior comes available so I can trade my current truck in.

Big Daddy Diesel!

This truck is the Baddest of the Bad. It has tourqe for DAYS! I have a 24' cargo trailer with 11k lbs of stuff in it. Didn't even notice it was there. The 8' bed is great for a future 5th wheel, but I currently park my Motorcycle in the bed with room to spare. The style is rugged and modern. The interior is slick. The comfort is the best ive ever had. The seats heat and cool, yeah... but they also MASSAGE! does your car do that? didn't think so. Yes you need this truck if your a MAN. Or want others to think your a MAN. If Kevin NASH was a vehicle back in his prime, this is the TRUCK he would be.

Best value in low-mileage used 2017's

My 1996 Ram 2500 Cummins recently came to the practical end of it's useful life (owned since new), and I decided to shop both a low-mile 2017 Ram 2500 and F250 (4x4, gas engine, crew cab). I found a dealer with both (comparably equipped) and test drove both extensively, and while the Ram was a little cheaper, the clear winner was the F250. While the Ram felt familiar, it was also less comfortable, had less rear-seat room (and less thoughtful layout), was noisier, and had relatively poor brakes. Other reviewers suggested the Ram's 5.7 Hemi felt weak compared to the Ford's 6.2, and my impression was the same. I bought a clean, 14k~ mile used 2017 F250 XLT 4x4 - and drove it home - 700 miles from Western MD to Atlanta. While I missed the Ram's lockup feature in the trans, even over the NC mountains the F250 on cruise barely felt like it was running. Compared to my '96 Dodge it was like comparing an old Focus to a Mercedes S-class in ride, comfort and quiet. Amazing how far trucks have come in 20+ years. I'm looking forward to 20 years with this new beast...

Ford F250 SD

2017 Ford F250 Super Duty 6.2 gas. Best bang for the buck. I pull about 6k pounds daily and this truck handles it like it's not even back there. The diesel is an added $8k+ to sticker price plus the DEF fluid, $200 oil changes, and if it breaks out of warranty you'll be taking out a mortgage on your home to repair. These 6.2s have enough power to pull whatever you want, will last well over 250k miles with correct maintenance and cost $35 to change the oil. I do not regret buying the gas over diesel at all. The truck is comfortable and has a great ride for a straight axle truck. Would definitely buy again.
