Loving our Ford Explorer

Extremely satisfied with our recent purchase. Our Ford Explorer has met and exceeded our expectations. Tons of space for family trips to sporting events. Nice smooth ride. Could see myself purchasing another in the near future.

This vehicle has all the quiet and power I could ask for. Great styling and and convince options. Would definitely buy at West Herr again.

Very nice vehicle for my wife.

Replaced a Alcadia Denali with this Explorer Limited. Huge improvement with the Explorer. Better looking, and way more reliable. Only thing I wish is if it got better mpg than my F150 does with a V8.

Lumbar support issue drivers seat

I got into my 2016 explorer limited yesterday , the lumbar support , left side drivers seat was bulging so much I could not sit comfortably, got out looked at it , got back in pushed back a little and it deflated, most likely broke, it will be interesting to see what ford says timorrow

What a piece of crap

2016 Explorer Platinum. 72k miles. Engine surging on every warm start. Dealer not able to repair. Not sure what it is. Front windshield trim almost blew off, had to stop and pull it off then glue it back on when I got back home. Side lower trim on drivers door was falling off, plastic connectors broke. Infotainment system was extremely laggy and the GPS didn’t work at times. Even after dealer update it still didn’t work properly. Rear roof seal around back door hinges was cracking causing water to leak inside. Hood is aluminum and the paint will bubble on pretty much all Explorers and come off. Transfer case is a sealed unit not allowing for any servicing or fluid changes. Transmission did not shift smoothly and would probably need to be rebuilt, dealer checked software and said it was up to date. I bought this car used and only kept it for a few months before trading it back in for a VW Atlas. Much better built vehicle and super roomy. I’m very disappointed in the lack of quality from the Explorer and am ashamed that Ford would make a car with this many known issues and not cover under a recall. I’m so happy to be done with this car.

Fun to Drive and Great for Family Road-trips

Several different models to fit your needs. The Platinum has all the bells and whistles with a twin turbo EcoBoost engine which is really fun to drive. We also have a rear DVD system for the kids which is great for longer trips. So far no complaints.

Exploring with Explorer

So far I am really impressed with the vehicle. It has more bells and whistles than I expected. It is quiet, rides smoothly, is roomy and comfortable. I love the heated seats and being able to Sync to my phone. I've only had it a few days, but I'm sure I'll discover more features that I love.

Love It

Love this vehicle. Could use more bells and whistles, but a really good car. It’s roomy, comfy, and my kids love it. I’m a lefty and have to get use to the steering wheel controls.

We love our explorer

Survived a roll over accident in the last explorer with only seatbelt bruises. Replaced it with a newer model. It is so comfortable, reliable, and fun to drive. We will be driving explorers for a long time.
