Scared to keep driving due to 1.6 eco problems

The car is nicely appointed and comfortable but that will not keep it running !!! Debating if I should dump it. To bad lost all faith in FORD !!!

They take care of my car.

I will be buying a new vehicle soon. For now, they take care of my Ford Escape better than anyone. You would think it is new.

Not a reliable vehicle

Loved it when we first bought the vehicle, but shortly after purchasing it we began to experience a problem infrequently that the vehicle would shut down with a warning that the engine was overheating when it was not. We had it “repaired “ but the problem persisted. Had it “repaired “ again and still have the problem. Looking for another vehicle that is reliable.

Most Comfortable and Reliable Car I've Owned

I love this car so much, when I decided to replace it, I got another just newer. I was getting this car ready to give to my mother, but she decided it was too big for her. She's elderly and little. So, it is on the market. I have babied this car

Best value! Quick, comfortable and economical

Comfortable for a six foot man and big dogs. Panoramic roof, keyless entry and ignition, leather electric seat with heat and lumbar! Never had one issue from 60,000 to 111,000 miles.

TOTAL MONEY PIT!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR SANITY!

Worst purchase I've ever made! Should have done my research. It has been nothing but problem after problem... they happen suddenly without warning , all at once , And they aren't cheap to fix! It started leaking coolant rapidly, but nobody could figure out why or where it was going. Had to replace radiator Reservoir and hoses. Then without warning the engine blew up after barely driving 5 miles (temp gage didn'tindicate overheating). Water pump went out at the same time. Followed by a torrential downpour and realizing both front windshield wipers didn't work suddenly. Had to replace both wiper motors . All of this Within 4 weeks of each other and cost over $5,000 to fix! And I should mention not even 2 weeks prior all routine maintenance was completed... all fluids checked, new brakes, new tires ... Etc. And everything checked out fine!

Crappy!!

Issues issues issues with 2013 ford escape SEL 1.6L has way tooooo many problems between the turbocharge and the boost itself. And on top of it expect your wastegate solenoid for your turbocharge to go out all the time and spend $200 here "oh!" And $200 there. It is ridiculous ford seriously just needs to recall any ford escape that is built in 2013 that has a turbocharge I have read forums upon forums upon forums about the same issues I am having with my 2013 ford escape 1.6L SEL and the same thing with millions of other people the WASTEGATE SOLENOID SHOULD BE FIXEDDDDDD. RECALLLLLL THESE ESCAPES!!! SO ME AND MANY MANY OTHERS CAN GET OUR MONEY BACK! IT IS HORRIBLE!!!. Literally just beyond words. If anyone from a FORD company reads this seriously contact me you need to recall 2013 ford escape SEL 1.6L WITH THE TURBOCHARGE ECOBOOST
