Good mileage. Lots of room for carrying things.

We use this to haul our boat and have no problems. I even brought home a 7 ft fully decorated tree in it. Comfortable riding. Just wish it had a place to put my purse when there is a passenger.

My Great Escape!

It is a pleasure to drive , and I am sure the beginning of a long and trusted relationship!I am now driving a 2011 Ford Escape, and loving it more than any woman should love a car! My buying experience paved the way for a great relationship with my new ride. Jay Kadlec treated me professionally, as he personalized his service. From the first glance to lastly handing me the keys, he thought of everything needed and took care of all the details. In fact, he treated me as family. Well, actually , he is my son! Kuddos to Jay!!

Has multiple problems

This cars computer is malfunctioning throws code for parts that have no issues. Will nit throw codes for major issue. I have put a lot of money fixing parts that the mechanics claim is the problem I have replaced the transmission I have given the car a tune-up I have rebooted the computer module and still the car keeps throwing codes for nothing that is wrong and will not throw codes for what is really wrong that they just assumed it is certain parts that needs to be fixed because there are no code to show what's really wrong with the car it is unsafe and unreliable the car should be recalled

Just bought it but love it.

Averaging 28 mpg. Great little SUV. So far it is very comfortable to be a smaller car. Fun to drive and very stable on the foad.

2011 awd xlt V6

Purchased a 2011 escape XLT AWD 3.0 V6 with just under 38K,runs great, only complaint is the first 2 gear shifts seem a little harsh and wind out, especially when cold, plenty of room, good handling, decent ride for a short wheel base vehicle, mileage is approx 22 MPG,my 4 cyl Rav4 gets 23/24,wish there was more storage areas,my rav has 2 in the rear floor, the Escape doesnt have any, hopefully it will be a reliable vehicle,we get a free powertrain warranty from the dealer, but also purchased a extended warranty to cover other items,my rav has been great over 60k and zero problems, hopefully this ford compares favorably,so far so good,it is my wifes vehicle she loves it and i am sure she will love it more during our Buffalo winters.

Rust issues

Have not had any mechanical.problems . They paint started flaking on their outside of their rear tire wells, around them hatchback window within 2 years. Was told by dealer that unless there is a perforation Ford would not repair. Have taken it in and been told by two different body shops one that does all their body work for a local ford dealership that this is a common problem
