2009 Ford Escape consumer reviews

Everyone needs to take their 2009 escapes to the dealership and have the front subframe looked at . The AC line condensation falls directly onto the subframe and rust so bad the control arm is ready to snap or the motor can fall out. Ford claims the 2009 was not affected. BS !!! Have yours looked at..it is a life and death situation

Bought this car 6 days prior to it being hit (T boned) by a car speeding and crossing the yellow line. Had I not bought my son this car neither of them in it would be here today, both escaped with non life threatening injuries. Would recommend this car to anyone for reliability. Worth every penny spent SIX DAYS prior!

This car met all of my needs. It is the most comfortable car I have ever driven..I bought it used in 2015. It is a 2009 and to date I have not had to make any major repairs. Absolutely love this car! Can't say a single negative thing about this vehicle.

This car has always been reliable, I drove it back and forth from college and it always met my needs. It is comfortable, drives well, includes wireless bluetooth (SYNC) for playing music, and making hands free phone calls. It has USB port for charging your phone or playing music as well. It is very spacious and has a large cargo area. Plenty of storage in this car as well!

The style was nice, drove the car for 4 years, had a great mechanic and took great care of the car, oil and transmissions changes on time some times earlier if I thought it might need it. Never traveled very far. went shopping local for groceries one day and the engine blew out, left me stranded.

Just bought the car and am pleased and hope to remain so. The Carfax report was positive and it has run well. Have only had it for a couple of weeks.

My transmission went out, electric power steering, and throttle body. These cars have a history of this. I like the feel of the vehicle and it looks nice.

I love this car, I just wish Ford would go back to the old body style so I could purchase another one. I do not like the new body style at all. The new ones are too small.

The escape is great. The look and ride are nice. I love the sync on it and the duel air. I enjoy driving it a lot.
