2014 FIAT 500L consumer reviews

I originally purchased this car to Uber/Lyft my final few semesters of college. I got many positive comments when riders got in, mainly how much room was on the inside. With the abilities of the rear seats to fold down and up if needed, I avoided needing a truck for almost anything. My only complaint about the car is the exterior styling, it looks odd but that also adds to its uniqueness. The 500L got the same turbo charged engine that the performance Abarath FIAT has, so this little car can really move in town and has passing power on the highway! Visibility is great, every car I get into now since this FIAT, I feel worried because there are so many blindspots that don't exist in the FIAT.

Bad transmision speeding chanching problems.Good un gas and leg room on a small car.But very bad performance transmicion.I paid for the transmicion to be fix less than two year at a fiat store and.noww transmicion blow out .Bad I won't recomend it to anyone

Has all the knick-knacks you want! Great sound system and moonroof...Loved this little wagon! The manual FWD is slightly clumsy but zippy once you know it.

This car fulfilled all my expectations! Especially because of the knowledge that fiat owns apha romeo and feeari.The ride quality is above the class to whch the car belongs!

It’s fun to drive, easy handling and has been reliable for the first 85000 miles on it. It’s not for everybody, it’s quirky in design for those looking for the ordinary. MPG could be better but I live in northern NJ so I gover a lot of incline. The 2014 came with the double clutch tranny which is not a problem if driven correctly which requires a little different drive operation compared the six speed in the 2015 and up

Beautiful inside and out but terrible make. So many mechanical problems. No help from manufacturer. They tell me to deal with the service shop which is a Fiat certified Dealership. If you make a piece of junk at least try to help customers keep them running.

Onwed x 4 years. > 100,000. Drives like 1st day and not one problem! Wake up America!!! Stadium seating and sports car feel! And let’s not to mention Beats System stereo and deceptively large room!

Very spacious inside. Even in the backseat. I have fit many things in this beautiful little compact car. Great gas mileage. I absolutely love the light that comes in thru the moonroof!. Best feature!

The worst car I purchased in California and the week I bought it would not start and when it was 2000 miles outside of the warranty the engine blew. Tried to apply for lemon law but they are in the pockets of the dealerships manufacture and would not help me. This car has been a total nightmare and I am unable to sell it or trade it because of it deprecation and what I owe! I HATE this car! Do Not Buy One You Will Regret it!

Recall after recall. No good. I totally unhappy with this car. I would not recommend to any of My friends or family members. Buy Chevy or Ford.
