BEST TRUCK I HAVE EVER OWNED

I purchased my truck new on Dec 31, 2002. It is an 03 crew cab, short box, Cummins HO, 6 speed manual. I still own it today with 315,000 miles very few repairs, oil change every 5K, 3 front end rebuilds, one water pump, a fan clutch, a new drivers seat pad and bottom cover, and a steering gear box. Surprisingly enough, I still have factory injectors. Absolutely the best truck I have ever owned BY FAR. Still gets up to 27 MPG and can pull just about anything you hook onto it. still looks new inside and out. I recently converted it to a dually to make it even more stable pulling my fifth wheel. Seems to be worth more today than what I paid for it 20 years ago.

Unsafe Dodge RAM 2500 model yr 2003. 4 door.

Long time problem with severe front wheel shimmy. I hear they issued a recall but now I’m told not true for my 2500 4door cab.

Much more reliable than the newer diesels with.

The newer cummins 6.7l diesels have a variable turbocharger, which is not as reliable. They are also strangled by extensive pollution devices including DEF fluid. These modern additions do NOT add to reliability and most definitely negatively affect fuel economy. This truck and engine combination will run forever.

Very dependable vehicle

This vehicle will do what you expect for a 3/4 ton truck with a tow package installed. Mechanically, the truck is in excellent condition. You would not be disappointed in the performance.
