Very clean, reliable vehicle.
This has been a great vehicle, very dependable and efficient. Fuel mileage averages 21.5 with my mix of city/hwy driving. Great car for young driver, or anyone on a budget.

Fun to Drive and Reliable
Very practical for my lifestyle (ie. dogs, camping, biking), but also comfortable and fun to drive. The acceleration is great and interior features are great. Built in coolers in the back seat make it ideal for football tailgating.

Pros and cons
I?m currently on year 7 with my Journey (3.5, SXT, AWD) and have been very satisfied with my purchase. (Bought new) pros: LOVE the service dept @ my dealership, good towing capacity, gas mileage is on point, interior hiding compartments. I will never own another vehicle without heated seats and a remote start!! Also, performance in the snow is amazing. I have a tow hitch and roof racks for more versatility. Cons: blind spots galore, no full size spare tire, cold weather causes her to be ?sensitive?, nowhere to put things within reach (purse, phone, etc)

Most reliable car I have ever owned
Excellent! Best new car I ever ownef. Will never buy a foreign car again. Noone should ever buy a foreign auto again. Not a single problem with it in six years other than normal maintenance stuff like battery needs replaced, brakes needing replaced, etc.

Just purchased my Dodge Journey
After driving pickups for several years I was reluctant to buy anything else. However my buget wouldn't allow for the purchase of a pickup. Working with a great dealer that suggested the Dodge Journey, I purchased it. It really serves my needs. Not too high or too loe to get in and out. It's very comfortable. I like the looks of it.

Loveeee ittt
I love this car so much. It's gorgeous and drives like a beast! But unfortunately, the alternator was recalled and did cost me $666. Other than that I love it, it's so roomy and comfortable but also stylish and powerful.

It serves it's purpose
We have owned a 2012 Journey SE Plus (2.4L engine, 4 speed trans) for going on 5 years and put approx. 65,000 kms on it. We bought it a year old, with 60,000km's on it. (currently at 125,000kms) Overall, I would say the car has performed as expected. We got it almost half price from new, only a year old based on higher mileage. We have kept up with all scheduled maintenance with a local mechanic. We have spent money on it, but most of that has been typical wear and tear. Tires, brakes, 1x wheel bearing, seized caliper once. It sounds like it may need some suspension work soon (squeek, squeek). Failures have been: Cracked wiring harness into tailgate ($450), broken seal between thermostat housing and block ($300), seized brake caliper ($300), USB jack does not work anymore. These are all things that should not go wrong with a car around 100,000-125,000 kms. One door seal is starting to wear a bit. Starting to see some rust along the bottom of the rocker panels (despite being oiled). We live in northern area where road salt plays a factor. Performance wise is serves it's purpose. Lots of room, comfortable interior, soft ride for family. It lacks power on highway, but I see that as the 4 speed trans. and not the engine. It does an admirable job. For what we paid for it a year old, $15,500, it has served us well. If we can get another 4-5 years out of it with minor maintenance, we will be happy.
