First Brand New Car Worth $7,000 1 Year Later

I loved my car and I think I still do. However, it was discontinued months after I bought it. Recalls galore but somehow not on my model. I have had one problem with it so far which was my Electronic Shutter Module got stuck open and triggered my check engine light. I guess in hindsight I wasn't the most informed consumer at the time of purchase but this car was in my price range and I didn't have much to work with as far as trade it goes......a year later thought my car is only worth $7,000 on KBB.

2015 Dodge Dart GT

Bought this used with 8k on it. Sporty ride, I like feeling bumps on the road not ghosting over them. The Uconnect 8.4 is top of its class, beautiful display and backup camera is best in class as well. Seats could be a tad comfier and the 4 cylinder is somewhat lacking but what can you expect.

2015 Dodge Dart SXT

Just bought a used Dart SXT at 26,000miles. Drove for 3 weeks now. The car is average in my view: The engine is 2.4L, the largest in this class, so it is quite powerful, acceleration is good. The interior design is average, the dashboard does not look like a 2015 vehicle, no touch screen, old fashion ratio, no USB port! My biggest complaint is the engine noise on idle, it is quite loud. I was told this is normal because of the engine type. Driving is OK.

Shop car

I've had the Dodge Dart GT for 1-1/2 years. It's the car that fought my eye for the first time buyer. It has everything I love about a car. That's it. The first month after I bought my dodge I took it back my sensors for the rear reverse camera were defective. 5 months later I went back to the shop because the red light cluster around my dash shut off with constant shanking noises coming from it. The day after they fixed it, I had to take it back because that night it still did not turn on. Also, I get an oil change and tire rotation every other month. The first 6 months I had to buy new tires. I'm on my 3rd set including the ones it came with. Alignment and shocks have been checked everytime. Everything is PASS.

Very beautiful & fancy but annoying feature

I thought this car was very nice but two things where i would not probably invest the money. The heater and A/C fan is extremely loud and noticeable especially if your talking to some one while it's running you have to talk loud. The interior front seats with net wholes where stuff can get inside and make it hard to clean properly. The vehicle is over price though every thing else is so nice and the car run beautifully smooth i like it a lot but because of the two stars i took off it would not be my first choice. Though it's nice and fancy.

Nice choice

Dodge dart is really a good car,I really like its rear light. Easy to handle.maybe a little bit small, but I like small cars so it is not a problem to me

The Professional Reviewers Got it Wrong

Having read the "expert" reviews on the Dart, I was curious of Dodge's compact sedan could hold its on in a competitive field. So I took delivery of a 2015 Dart GT with all the goodies. For a very good price out the door, I got a car with premium features, sporty handling, and enough power to be class-competitive. Dart is not perfect. Fuel economy (with the 2.4 and a manual transmission) is more mid-size than compact. Headroom is at a premium and the steering wheel doesn't tilt down far enough. But Dart is good. It handles remarkably well, has great feature content, is the best looking compact currently for sale, and has decent aftermarket support. I've owned over two dozen cars. I know where the Dart sits on the automotive food chain, but I am thoroughly enjoying my ownership experience. It is a fun cheap car. The key to Dart ownership, IMHO, is to avoid the less expensive trims and to get one fully loaded; the low-cost option packages and options take the Dart from a midpack compact car to an amazing and fun value.
