this truck is tough, and is so reliable that my mechanic is surprised to see me my motorcycles and trucks and my SUV,s have to be reliable, or i dont own them Honda motorcycles, a Nissan suv and my chevy silverado 2500hd cheers!

I have never had an issue with this truck. Take care of it and it will perform for you many years! Like any truck, undercoat, undercoat undercoat and wash regular. Kept oil changed and you will never have a problem with it for 20 years!

Was looking for a truck to use for hunting and also pull a camper . I have never owned a diesel till now and I was surprised with the power they produce and the fuel economy although the maintenance is a little more expensive than a gas powered vehicle I wanted something versatile for my needs

It is what I was looking for. A heavy duty pickup for both work and personal. It is a strong pulling pickup that actually rides nicer than the 1/2 ton pickup I traded in.

Bought this truck to pull our travel trailer and exceeded expectations. Very comfortable seats and spacious interior. Very reliable. Only complaint is the cheap feel of the interior.

The styling is about all that General Motors has going for them. These vehicles have so many computer problems it unreal. Don't know why GM hasn't recalled or at the very least made this more important matter. Service stabiltrac, service brake assist, are just a couple. And 90% of the time the malfunction has nothing to do with either. But you'll get the lights on the dash flashing and the chime dinging. Now who can drive with all that going on. No, you can't disabled it. Oh, did I mention the $$$ cost your going to pay at the dealership for them to fix a short or replace a ground cable, or brake pedal sensor switch.??? At least that's what they say. Who knows what they did back in the garage. Probably NOTHING other than reset computer. All I'm saying is look into your matters GM. Get these problems fix. I invited anyone thinking about buying a General Motors to go online and Google any one of those and read about the people that's had issues. Talking brand new vehicles.

Bought this truck new. It only has 60,000 miles in 7 years. Everything works fine except for the DEF system for the diesel engine. It's been in shop 4 times for DEF sensors and each time cost me around $500 to $900 dollars to get it fixed. I will not drive too far from home because never know when the sensors will break. Never buy another chevrolet diesel.

We have been using our truck for everything lately. Pulling work trailer, pulling horse trailers. It does a great job, and never lets us down!
