Sry reliable van I have e er owed.

Too much room on the back but very tight on the driver side. The driver leg room is small and not comfortable. The engine is. Rey strong and good.

great truck for the money!

bought this '99 about 10 months ago with 168,000 miles for 4500 dollars...definitely a quality truck! only problem i had was the wiring harness's for the rear lights...65 dollar fix. tons of power, great handling, and plenty of room. gas mileage could be better but hay...can't have it all! excellent all around truck- 2 thumbs up!!

Most Reliable Auto I've Owned

Strong powertrain. Great gas mileage (up to 22 MPG with my 1500) Minor fixes which also have minor costs. Easy to service. This is the best van on the market today. I know I am a mechanic!

Continuing Coolant leaks

Problems started with a weeping water pump (2001), progressed to burst radiator in 2006, and currently a leaking intake manifold gasket (huge problem to get to, replace -- did it myself because no mechanic would want to tackle this without huge labor costs). Some conspiracy theorists blame Dex-cool; don't know, but coolant problems (along with two wiring problems) have plagued my van.

Chevy Express 3500

Great family Van for long trips. Got 16 MPG on trips. Great panoramic view from front seats when traveling. Road handling great on curving mountain roads. Power was never an issue. Just oil changes and no issues at all. Even original tires look new after 50K miles. Towed a car once and did not feel like there was anything back there. I drive a Honda Civic around town, but the Chevy is a great trip car (van) to load the family in for traveling. With 4 kids, each one had a bench for themselves for the trip and was a great trip stress reducer. I have had it over 5 years and it has been the best family investment for together times on the road.
