2011 Chevrolet Cruze consumer reviews

Not worth it. The money spent in repairs is ridiculous.. I also will never buy another car from the dealership we went to . It was our second one from there and now done.

Worst GM product I’ve ever seen. Spent at least $5000 on repairs and parts and the car still runs like crap. The check engine light stays on from something being wrong with the car. Dealers half fix it then try to suck more money out of you on different courses to fix the car. Either the dealers don’t know how to fix it or the Cruze is a total lemon. I’ve looked at many YouTube videos and blogs about the Chevy Cruze and still there is no fix for this car. Almost as bad as a Ford.

i love the looks of it and the handling is amazing. Very customizable too. Lots of fun! Plenty of Space in the car and very comfortable to drive.

This car has less than 100,000 miles on it, I helped assemble it at Lordstown. General motors had a recall on it because It has an oil leak, so GM ordered the dealers to cut a big hole in the pan underneath the engine to let the oil drip onto the floor. The real problem wasn't the pan (it was the leaking oil cooler for the turbocharger.) Along with other oil leaks in the engine compartment! The recall should have been to replace the o-rings in the oil cooler which (now leak on my car, causing a smell of burnt oil). NOW it's a VERY EXPENSIVE REPLACE of the o-rings IN THE OIL COOLER, well into the hundreds of dollars for each of these cars MOST OF IT IS LABOR.

Don't buy! Constant problems. Replaced 2 turbos at 1800.00 each. Oil leaks. I have 4 now. Also, alternator gone bad. The oil leaks will require total removal of engine. Will be in the thousands. More than the car is worth. I'm trying to trade it in for another vehicle . I wanted to stay with American cars, but I can't do it anymore. This makes the second LEMON that I have bought from Chevrolet. I will never buy an American car again. I'm done.

This car is far and above anything else I have owned. The reliability, comfort and style are fantastic. The gas mileage is great. I only have to fill up 2 times a month! I love Chevy’s and my Cruze gets me lots of positive attention!

This car met all my needs , I have no complaints and would re-purchase it again. I hope this car makes someone just as happy as it did for me

This is a great buy for the money. Couldn’t have gotten a better deal elsewhere. Great car for our son commuting to and from college.

I bought this car when I first got my license almost 5 years ago. I bought it used with 39,000 miles on it. It had just hit 100,000 a few weeks ago and the engine is destroyed. The oil valve is broken and is going to cost more to fix than the car is worth. I have been having engine problems with this car for a while.

This car has been nothing but a nightmare!! I have gone poor with the repair bills. After all the things that have needed repairs in this car the engine went !! Now I have a car that I’m making payments on sitting in my driveway.
