The car has been great to us
Love it, it has the turbo charged engine, it's quick, and reliable at the pedal. Responds nice in the steering. Stereo is good, like the aux port. Moon roof is always fun

One of the worst problem cars owned
Since the first week I purchased there has been problem after problem. The dealership keeps denying problems until it either doesn't run or my warranties have run out.

The WORST Car in the world!
I had a BRAND NEW 2011 Chevy Cruze 1LT that an outside influence had forced me to purchase it. I knew that this car was trouble from the get go when I drove it. The sales rep told me that it is learning from me "how to drive"-- line! Actually, it had a weak 1.4L turbo charged engine I-4 with a huge turbo lag and a continuously variable transmission (CVT) six-speed automatic transmission -- the same transmission that Nissan had trouble with their low-end models. Within three weeks, this car was in the shop because the transmission was slipping, and that did cause stalling. One time, this car actually stalled at an intersection from a dead stop. I tried to explain this to the dealership -- twice. However, my complaint was blown off. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I just wanted to get rid of this car and claimed it as a "Lemon." Unfortunately, Chevy only gave me a $500 rebate and told me to keep the car! The interior was a joke as well. I'm tall about 6'. The cabin was just too small from me. I can't get in or out without feeling like that I'm crawling into a small hole. the "A" pillar and the "B" pillar were in my line of sight, which means that I cannot see, and I had a huge blind spot. I almost got in an accident because of this. I tried so hard to adjust the mirrors; however, it was useless. I had to stick my head out to see if there was a car in blind spot while changing lines....The middle consul was nothing but 1" by 1" piece of foam, and all of the nobs and buttons were smashed in together. It was difficult to find the correct button to adjust the heat and the A/C. Within eight months, I sold this car to dealership to get a better mid level car with a powerful V6. I suggest that this model will cease altogether because of its dangerous engineering design

Non lemon vehicle so far
Sure it had minor recalls but for the most part it's survived 42,000 miles without major mind boggling issues. Water pump out at 25,000 miles and battery change around 32,000 miles and me and wife purchased it New in 2011 with odometer reading 11 miles. I love the car but can't stand the no keyhole for trunk and USB doesn't charge things while car is non running while you leave car.

Can you say "LEMON" ?
I bought a 2012 Cruze new in Sept 2011. In December, I noticed a burning oil smell when I ran the heat. I took it to dealership and they found nothing. Later in February, I took it back for same issue. They actually had another Cruze in for same issue, hadn't been able to find the issue, but had a GM tech coming to try to figure it out. Didn't really get resolution on this issue, just told no fix for it, but nothing to worry about. I have had water pump replaced 4 times because it was leaking. I have 65000 miles, and now advised I have 3 areas leaking oil. I love the car, but will be getting rid of it.. Doubt I will every purchase another Chevy. The only other car I have every owned that had so many issues early on was a Chevy Camaro.
