Excellent starter and runner, classic style

The car is reliable and looks great too! I never worry about it starting in sub zero temperatures. The roominess is nice. It comfortably seats a family. Body is virtually rust free. A pleasure to drive.

Great all around car

I only have the basic of basics 2 door model, with 5 speed stick. Myself, I don't need all the bells and whistles most newer or higher end cars have. Just give me a radio and gas, im ready to roll. This car is very reliable, only replaced a battery and regular oil change, fuel filter, air filter, and spark plugs. The battery it needed, but with time, every vehicle will need a new battery. Just keep it up, and will last a long time and will take you wherever you need to go. Also is kinda "sporty", it handled mountain curves at speeds I thought the car wouldn't handle but it did, on stock suspension. Also has some serious get up and go, for what it is. Its no Camaro or nothing of that nature, but its cheap and fun. My only complaint really is the throttle feels and reacts like a darn electronic model, talking about a first initial lag to rev, even though its a cable throttle. But I may try to take the throttle body off and try to clean it and lube up the external springs and assemblies. Mind you, mine as 163??? miles on it, so some gunk can build up. I seen it happen on plenty of other cars with lower miles. So not necessarily chevy's fault.

If you want a good car this is it

This car is ready for someone to jump in it and drive. It was A4 door but now it is the three door. So it makes the car one of a kind

Good Cheap Car

Got this car after my previous was totalled (not my fault). Found it for under $3000 with 145k miles. Does great on gas mileage, which was a lifesaver for a college student. It has had its fair share of small problems, that I was able to repair all myself for relatively cheap. Overall though, its been a great little car. Just crossed 171k on it this year. Take good care of her and she'll take good care of you.

Shaking

Test drove this car this car the other day. Can't tell from the pictures but the clear coat is peeling badly. The engine shakes the whole car, especially when you shift into reverse. Dealer said something about the air conditioning not working too. Left rearview is cracked, but the interior is very well kept. If you think you can find out whats making it shake and fix it then go for it.

Best car I ever have

Even though the interior is pretty cheap, the engine and transmission are superb. It is a fast, reliable small car. It can make 23 MPG in city traffic and 32 MPG on a highway. I love it.

Cavalier: A Memorable Worthwhile Model

The Cavalier feels secure, handles really well, and driving is a pleasure. The sporty LS in particular is appealing to the eye as well as fun to ride in. This is one vehicle that should be brought back into production. The Cobalt just doesn't do it as well.

I HEART MY CAV!!!

Bought this car new with 7K miles. Now has 178K. Hit an elk on the highway going 70mph 6 years ago and stayed straight as a pin which saved my life. This has been the most reliable car I've owned. Only problem I have is my paint (dark green) is peeling and I'm deciding if I want to paint it or get another car. But I'm keeping it as a second car.
