Very fast, very powerful, very awesome!
My family has owned a 1987 Chevy Caprice Classic for some time now. Most of the time it has spent with us, it was sitting outside. Whether it was being driven around, or sitting around, this car has always served useful. We must of had that thing sittin in our yard for a year, maybe two, without being run. As far as I know, we never even changed the battery on it. I personally favor the large body style of it, for that will generally get people in front of you to move out of the way. Everyone I know who has seen this car say they absolutely love it. This car will get you where you are going, and you might not even have to stop. The car can go so fast, and it is so heavy, that if you run out of gas, you could probably coast to the nearest gas station. Aerodynamics, rockin the Classic. The grill is specifically designed for fuel efficiency and aerodynamics. The rear view mirrors are shaped for air to just float past as if nothing is there. If you ever get a chance to ride in or drive this car, you will absolutely love the seats. They are softest seats I personally have ever sat in in a car.

Reliable and Well Built. A Big, Blue Powerhouse!
This car has been in my household for about 10 years and it has stood the test of time. Despite living outside most of it's life, there is very little rust on the body. A few specks here and there but nothing to complain about. The paint also remains intact after years of heat, sun, rainstorms and Canadian winters. Obviously, as far as styling goes this car is past it's prime, but as far as appearance goes this car pretty much looks the same as it did when it came off the factory floor in 1989. My car is the V6 version, and although it can be a brute on gas (20-30L/week brings it from half to full) with the performance and power I get out of it, I know im definately getting my moneys worth. This car drives like a dream and handles really well in the city and on the highway. The trasnmission isn't in the best shape (it's an automatic), but considering it is 18 years old thats to be expected. I simply love the fact that I can take off faster than any of those young punks in their newer cars at any light change. Simply tap the accelerator and this car moves! With it's powerful V6, this car has made it over the mountains many times with the smoothness and comfort of a luxury sedan. It handles any condition, any road like a true champ. What else could a driver ask for? As far as maitenance goes, I keep up with all the standard annual maitanance as any driver should and havn't had any serious problems. The alternator went one year and had to be replaced, as did the heater fan, but basically thats all that has gone wrong with it in the 10 years or so I've owned it. It came with power locks, power windows, air conditioning, digital clock and am/fm radio with cassette deck, feautures which in it's day would have been considered premium. Though no cup holders, which can make grabbing a beverage to go kind of a pain. The seats are extremely comfortable however and no one complains about having to sit in the back due to it's spacious seating and leg room. Overall I love this car and think anyone who classifies it as just another gigantic boat on the road should be sentenced to own one themselves. I guarantee they will end up falling under it's powerful speel, just as I have.
