Like having 4wd before the snow

This car drives well. It’s smaller like I like but yet enough room to haul a few things. It handles well on the freeway and fits nicely in my garage.

What a beautiful car

I initially looked/test drove this car because my mother has one that she loves. Mom’s car has been reliable with no concerns over the past 18 months. I have had the suv for 2 wonderful days. Looks great (I got the red), has very attractive perforated leather seats. I do love all the various options (I’m a gadget person). Also like the ability for various customization options. The iPhone charge area is a nice touch, as is the front driver and passenger door slots specific for an umbrella. Drives super smoothly. So far I love my Cadillac as much as my mother loves hers. The only complaint I have is you can’t turn off the radio!!! What?? Yup you just mute it — I’m fine with that but it seems odd.

Comfortable small suv

Plenty of leg room, even for my husband in the back seat. Roomy width, does not feel cramped. I went from a large suv to this car .

Horrible vehicle stay away

Transmission problem after 700 miles transmission replaced and still having issues dealer will not help refuses to admit there is a problem had it less than a year and it has been in the dealership a total of 3 months Cadillac care refuses to help. Please don't purchase this vehicle you will be very dissapointed not worth the 50,000 dollar price tag. I am so angry with Cadillac. Just trying to warn you guys you will not be happy. Hits bumps like a Ups truck horrible in the snow has to much torque always breaking loose in the snow no traction.

So many features. Great work by design team GMC

Beautiful design exterior and interior, I have to go to school to learn all the features to enjoy driving this car. I like the folding mirrors and 360 Camera.

Trendsetting vehicle - boh in performance and appe

Both my wife and I leased two new XT 4s. We constantly are complimented on our choice of vehicle: its compelling style , street presence and multi-generational appeal. Its advanced technology, ease of driving and performance gave flight to a unique combination of trendy, sporty and Cadillac "Classic" - all at the same time. The XT 4 is concomitantly the period (.) and exclamation (!) of Cadillac's transformation and General Motors' faith in the Cadillac crest .

Beautiful car, but so many issues.

I fell in love with this car from the moment I heard Cadillac was making this model, so much so that I custom ordered one. I got the car in December of 2018 and my problems started in March of 2019. First, the taillights would hold moisture on the inside of the lens when I would go through a car wash, this was fixed and no more problems. Second, my heads up display would randomly go on and off, this has been ATTEMPTED to be fixed 6 times now and is still not resolved. The service department will say it is fixed, then they return it and it continues to have the SAME issues. Example, picked it up from the dealership, went ACROSS THE STREET to the car wash and it stopped working immediately. Third, the climate control setting on the radio display do not work, it simply says “CLIMATE OFF”, issue ATTEMPTED to be fixed 5 times. Fourth, there is what looks like a dead pixel on the Birdseye view on the cars backup camera, issue ATTEMPTED to be fixed 5 times. All these issues continue to re-appear and the service department says they have “fixed” them. I purchased a Cadillac to receive “Cadillac” service and I have not gotten that! This is my absolute dream car, but it turning into a nightmare!

Nice Car to Drive But Disappointment in Technology

Overall, the car is a nice ride and enjoyable to drive. Heads-up display is nice but should also include blindspot warnings. Blindspot warnings are in the side mirrors but you have to take your eyes off the road to know there is traffic in your blindspot. Seat vibration is nice for collision detection and lane departure. Blindspot in the seat vibration would also be nice. Technology is the big disappointment with this car and apparently Cadillac in general. The Infotainment system is problematic and lacks basic features that exist with virtually all other manufacturers. For example, the Cadillac Infotainment system does not support bluetooth text messaging. Unlike other manufacturers, the only way you can get your text messages displayed or read out loud is to be hard wired connected through Android Auto or Apple Carplay. What is the sense of having bluetooth if you need to hard wire a connection to Android Auto? My dealer confirmed to me today that bluetooth messaging is no longer supported by Cadillac. Seriously? In today's age of integration, Cadillac is not supporting it? Infotainment system voice recognition and hands free integration fails often. Very unimpressive. Also, most all manufacturers provide you free Android or IOS apps that allow you to have remote access to your car for GPS, remote start, gas and mileage information etc. Cadillac has an app but you must pay a monthly $35 fee through OnStar to get the same service that other auto manufacturers provide to their customers at no cost. For what you pay for a Cadillac, it is disappointing that they will charge you a monthly subscription. So nice car, poor technology interface. Big disappointment. If you value the evolution of technology integration for hands free voice activation and commands, stay away from Cadillac.
