2006 Cadillac gm should be ashamed of of themselves after two motor four batteries new alternator fuel pump power steering pump and many other things you would think I would have fixed it but no now the battery is parasitic and no one can tell me where the problem is thank you gm

This SUV Is meant for comfort and space. The memory settings are convenient. The sunroof is very big and climate controls are accessible in the back as well as front. The seats are heated and cooled

Fast forward to 2018, we needed a second car, and trust me the search did not start with the SRX. I wanted a V8 half ton, but wasn't willing to part with more than my budget, settle for something with 250k on the odometer, or one of those "good runners" that looks like it was hauled off the set of Mad Max. Probably test drove half a dozen cars and SUV's before I found this 2006 SRX base model with 112k. It had a clean carfax, two previous owners, and had been well maintained inside and out. The vehicle threw a check engine light on the test drive much to the salesman's consternation and upon further inspection it was revealed to need a new catalytic converter which the dealership replaced prior to my taking delivery of it. I will say this 2006 SRX still has a better street and highway ride than some of the much newer cars I test drove. For 12 year old powertrain and suspension technology it still provides ample scoot and decent cornering despite it's mass. All things considered I can overlook the 15mpg city rating, and hope to enjoy another 100k of use before looking at another Caddy.

It is a very good choice of cars for us living in snow country. It handles well in ice and snow conditions with the electronic front wheel assist that is so easy to use. Not to mention the memory function for each driver. Never had to reset anything once the key was inserted the car set everything to the drivers specifications and you were ready to go. Even down to the heated seats and A/C or heat. It was a real wow factor.

runs great, great leg room ,smooth ride, looks awesome, tires and brakes have at least 20,000 remaining on them.

We loved our SRX when we got it but it blew a head gasket pretty quickly after we got it and it was never the same again.

So far I've gone 146000 with routine maintenance and few repairs and the only major repair was my fault.

The SUV is comfortable, has nice options, looks great. Only complaint so far is poor gas mileage.....about 15.5 mpg.

I have owned several of these (4) all have had minor problems expected for 10 year old vehicles love the styling the panoramic roof and the seven seater option my kids love the DVDs in the back.All the models I owned were awd the v8 had a transfer case problem can't speak badly about them
