2011 Cadillac DTS consumer reviews

Rides a little stiffer than the Deville. Has a smaller gas tank and lower MPG, but this is the big model available after the Deville was discontinued. If you like the comfort ride, this is your car. I have the Platinum model, and it is decked out. Still trying to find some of the features!

Fuel pump relay keeps overheating/burning up. Have found MANY, MANY of the EXACT same problem from Cad owners. This should be a recall issue. We have replaced the fuel pump, fuse and entire relay box. Have never owned a vehicle with the same problem reported by so many owners.

I love the look, feel and ride of this car. Wanted to have a Caddy since I was old enough to drive. The car is beautiful inside and out, great ride and comfort. Killer sound system. Love the heated and cooled seats. BUT - had to drop $4K 2months after I bought it with 48K miles on it because of the leaky NorthStar V8. Frankly - GM did a crappy job of engineering this beauty. EVERYTHING is hard to get to and fix. I have heard you have to take the front bumper off to replace a headlight! I couldn't get AAA to replace the battery on site because you have to take the back seat out to get to the battery! I will keep Eartha (her name) until she becomes too expensive for me to keep up - but I will love her until the cost gets too high. Shame on GM for charging $50K-$60K for these cars when new - and doing such a lousy engineering job.

I’m reading some good things, but I’m concerned about the head gasket situation on these cars as I’m thinking about getting one, and the north star engine

We bought this 2011 to replace the 2008 we wore out after 200,000 miles. These are great, large and comfortable drivers. Excellent for road trips, the powerful engine never seems to work hard. The fit and finish, the amenities are great. To bad they replaced it with tiny, no room, noisy, small engined vehicles.

I purchased a Dts with 41000 miles this is my 4 Cadillac and the worst one. I have had so many problems. I’m not sure how the newer cars are. All Cadillacs have a problem with oil leaking for some reason 3 of my cars this happened to. The last one I had to buy a transmission. I had the exact same car and color.

I have had 4 caddy’s they all have a tendency to have oil leaks after 11 years. Have that car check out by someone you know. If you get the warranty package get it you will need it. They cars are great they ride awesome that’s why I keep buying one My last one only had 60,000 miles. After two years I have been changing everything. This is the only car I had to have major things done to it. Just make sure to get some kind of warranty.

A rather unknown great car that people are not aware of.The car handles and brakes well.It feels like a great piece of machinery!!! The Town Car is good but a different feel.I like the Caddy alot better.

It is a great car, one that I really feel good driving, It is comfortable, stylish and I know that it fits me. I've been a Cadillac owner before but this DTS is by far the best.

Very good value as this one has low miles, all the bells and whistles, with new michelin tires and new battery. A great buy. hurry before it sells.
