2005 Cadillac DeVille consumer reviews

Love this car but my hind end is too big for the driver seat so I have to find a comfortable position. Also the car has been in the repair shop a lot. Leaks oil, but too expensive to fix. Had transmission leak which was very expensive to fix. Had a problem with the heating and cooling fan. The check engine light likes to come on for various problems. Had to replace the back air shocks, check oil level sensor. I finally have all the bugs worked out of it after several thousands of dollars. The car runs great now. It is very comfortable and looks great. It is pearl white and gets many compliments. I am going to keep this car for a very long time. I think I will "xxxx" it out at some point int time. Maybe lower it and put hydraulics on it. Great car if you do not mind spending a lot of money to get it just right.

From the perspective of a high school senior in 2010, this was the perfect car both for me and my protective parents. For me it had style and attitude that stuck out from the other students' Toyotas and Ford's. For my mom and dad, it had the safety features they needed and the reliability of a Cadillac they knew. For me, I like the bold styling with the optional chrome package which comes with chrome alloy wheels and silver metallic paint. Even though this is still a pre-crash GM product, I could see this was still no cheap chevy. The leather is nice and so is the sound system with xm radio. The infamous North Star engine was updated a few model years ago and all the usual gremlins are gone. I eventually moded the exhaust system, so that V8 sound great too. My parents like this car for the safety and the reliability, especially after my fender bender or two (don't tell them about the other ones). When I t boned an other car, all I needed was a new bumper

This car is very comfortable to drive. It handles very well. All the controls are very easy to use. I haven't had any issues except basic maintenance.

Absolutely without a doubt one of the best cars on the market, my 2005 has 136k on it and still runs like the day it came off the showroom floor. The heated seats and steering wheel are a definite plus on cold winter days and the air conditioned seats and rear air are wonderful during the summer. The trunk space is more than adequate, I love this car!!!

I LOVE ALL THE TOYS AND THE GREAT RIDE.I LIKE HEATED AND COOL SEATS THE HEATED STEERING WHEEL,THE REAR AC,THE SUN ROOF. THE POWERFUL ENGINE AND GREAT GAS MILES.

Driving this car feels like you are driving a boat. It rides so smoothly that you don't even realize whwn tou got to 55 miles an hour! You want to feel "like a boss", buy a Cadillac Deville!

Worth well more than I am asking! I have never seen a used car so well taken care of, not a scratch, not ever smoked in, garage stored.

The Cadillac Deville DHS has the perfect blend of luxury, comfort and power. It's an excellent town car and superb for road trips. The suspension provides a smooth ride overall and the Northstar engine delivers more than adequate power for passing and highway driving. The cab has all the creature comforts that make the car a joy to drive, inside you'll have: dual climate controls, programmable driver setting for up to two separate drivers, a premium sound system and leather power seats, just to point out a few. After putting several hundred miles on it, I can say that I've never been more impressed with the comfort, power and dependability of this vehicle.

Good on driving hard on mantaning.when cold can cut heat on the back of the seats and heat your back up and leaned back reliability performance all ,100.00 per cent and comfort .Value of rating is also ,100 the interior design was OK know I need a good clean for the interior. And it needs rust cleaning in spots I can taffort another I would like like too have a new lincon
