Looks good on the outside

I've never brought a Cadillac that soon as I drove off the coolant light came on and is still on No Warranty just a Very Big Rip Off If I could trade this Cadillac for another as Clean one I would. When I test drove 3 times none of this happen I simply don't understand what happen.I had a paid for 1999 which someone hit me and totalled it so I was in a hurry after spending $1000.00 on rental car for three weeks my deadline was up and I went for it. I really thought I would be happy- beautiful black and gold Cadillac- Vogue tires and Extremely clean on the inside just to many computer maintaince keep showing up and I don't know if something is wrong or not. You know people will tell u something is wrong with a Cadillac just to beat you out of a whole lot of money....

1000 mile road trip - Not Bad!

Bought this car used a couple of months ago. Around the city, I was getting mid-teen gas mileage. This past weekend I had a 1000+ mile road trip with mostly highway driving. Average economy with the Northstar 32 valve V8 was 27 mpg. Very impressed. Performance was very good. Seats were comfortable. The base level model lacks a bit in adjustments.

Poor reliability $500 / $2000 repairs each year

I purchased this Cadillac based on the reported quality, which I have many issues with the reliability, Such as:Transmission issues, power windows motors replaced, emission pumps, electronic problems are many. I am so discouraged I will never buy another Cadillac again. If you have one sell it befoe it gets to 25,000 miles. T in Detroit/Ann Arbor MI.

CADILLAC DEVILLE 2003 REVIEW MOST DISAPPOINTING

CADILLAC DEVILLE 2003 SEDAN IS A VEHICLE THAT WILL FUSTRATE YOU. IT HAS A WEIRD REAR END IMAGE TRYING TO IMITATE THE LINCOLNCONTINENTAL AND A WEIRD FRONT END WITH GRILLS ON THE FRONT BUMPER. IT IS A VEHICLE WHICH HAS TECHNO WIZARDRY FROM THE PAST LIKE ONSTAR WHICH WAS CONNECTED AS ANALOG IN 2003 AND IT IS DIGITIAL TODAY IN APRIL 2008. THEREFORE YOU CAN NOT RECEIVE UNITIL YOU PAY THE $300 UPGRADE FEE. THEN THERE IS THE NOISE FROM THE REAR RIDE SUSPENSION LEVELER THAT RACKS YOUR BRAINS AND PASSENGERS SITTING IN THE REAR SEAT. AN EXPENSIVE LUXURY CAR AS A CADILLAC SHOULD NOT MAKE NOISES TO LEVEL ITSELF. THE FUEL MILEAGE WILL MAKE YOU SICK. IT IS BETTER TO PUT PREMIUM TO KEEP THE FUEL INJECT CLEAN, BUT REGULAR IS RECOMMENDED BY GM. YOU WILL STILL BE GUZZLED BY THE GAS MILEAGE WHICHEVER FUEL GRADE YOU USE. YOU BETTER EVEN HAVE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY BECAUSE ALL THE TECHNO STUFF WILL GO OUT ON YOU. THE BEST NOISE ON SUCH AN EXPENSIVE CAR IS LEFT TO THE POWER STEERING RETURN HOSES FROM THE POWER STEER PUMP. YOU WILL GET A MOANING NOISE AS YOU TURN THE WHEEL TO THE RIGHT PARTIALLY ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE AT STAND STILL LIKE COMING OUT OF YOUR DRIVEWAY. NOW THAT POWER STEER NOISE WILL FREAK YOUR PASSENGERS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS CAR NEW OR USED EVEN IF THE PRICE SOUNDS WORTH IT.STAY AWAY FROM ANY 2003 DEVILLE CADILLAC.IF YOU ACCIDENTLY BUMP THE REAR BUMPER AT 1 MPH, YOU WILL DO $500 DAMAGE TO THE BUMPER.STAY AWAY FROM THIS CADILLAC BECAUSE THE WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS ARE SHODDY AND NOT REPRESENTATIVE OF A HIGH END LUXURY CAR. GM CADILLAC WILL MAKE YOU FEEL RIPPED OFF IN THIS VEHICLE. YOU WILL EVEN PAY OUT OF YOUR POCKET ABOUT $55 FOR A PAPER MICROFILTER FOR THE INTERIOR EVERY YEAR. THE FILTER WORKS TO CLEAN THE AIR CONDITIONING BLOWING IN THE INTERIOR.IN SUMMARY SELL OR TRADE THE 2003 DEVILLE BECAUSE IT WILL DISAPPOINT YOU ALL THE WAY.

Crusin' the Great Plains

Fantastic...one word can sum up an automobile and that is the word. Since the day I bought my 2003 Cadillac DTS I have been in love. The ride, handling and solid feel on the interstate are what a touring car needs and this car delivers. The navigation system is a bit of a challange, but using it gets easier as time goes by. The exterior and interior trim and finish are well above what I am used to in other GM brand offerings. Only two tiny complaints, being tall my head rubs on the headliner (Should have passsed on the power sun roof) and the driver's seat needs to go back an inch more, my knee hits the navigation system housing. Overall this is a great car, and look forward to many more years of service before my next Cadillac.
