I love my car but come on!

I love my car but come on! How many people have I seen online with the exact problem OVERHEATING!! Did the makers do this on purpose? It seems to me they did! I was headed to work 25 miles away from home & yep over heated out of the blue. Replaced tensioner pulley belt and thermostat. Again! Replaced water pump still overheating! Then both front wheel bearings out at the same time replaced. Replaced over flow tanks cap. Throttle position sensor and vehicle speed sensor plus went through $300 worth of antifreeze no joke! Why are us cadillac owners having the exact same issue? That's not fair! I tell you people will do anything for money so sad! We should get some kind of repayment!

True classic, ID engine cast n avoid Y code blocks

Bought my 02 DeVille 3 months ago now, despite all my mechanic friends warning me to stay clear of northstar power plant due to their bad rep of blown head gaskets, eating oil, gasket leaks and just being generally hard to work on (ie. starter located under intake manifold) with complex electrical systems. I love the styling and with a perfect body, 9 code engine that was unbelievably healthy for 151k mi, I handed the previous owner the $1800 cash he was asking about 2 min after test ride I needed to check the vin. Awesome car

I’ve been driving Cadillacs for 20 years.

Its American Made luxury, not up to par with Benz but they are trying. This model considering the year, is still pretty spacious and comfortable. The cadillacs features were lacking considering what wAs available at the time. I think Lexus was more up to date with the technology when it comes to the years of their vehicles.

Bought new in 2002!

At $57,800 miles, oil leaks terribly, so sad because it is a smooth comfort luxury ride with great lines and interior finish. I have done all the maintenance on time and the car was garaged since purchase. Now I was told it would cost $4,000 to replace oil pan gasket because it is leaking but the Kelly blue book values the car at $2,000. This is the second Cadillac i have owned, one 36 years ago and I had the engine block crack in that Eldorado, so I am asking myself "why the heck did I get sucked into a Cadillac again?" I will drive this as long as possible while monitoring the oil and never, ever will I buy a Cadillac again!

I absolutley love my caddy

I love my caddy and as my first car, push it a little beyond its limits and modify it quite often. My base deville has thrown many obstacles my way, however I like a challenge. The reliability is terrible but I always fix my own cars and love the way this car performs. I bought my caddy used and in only a few months of ownership, I warn you that many things need to be fixed but the honor of owning a Cadillac is second to none. I recommend this car to anybody who is willing to tinker with their car on a daily basis and enjoy the amazing ride that this outstanding car provides for a cheap price.

The strongest and most bueatifull car ever!

It has been well maintained and serviced mostly at a Dealership. This car is the vogue edition and one of the most dependable with the north star motor which is one of the strongest ever made by Cadillac.
