WOW

This car has everything, looks, performance, sportiness, elegance. it is a work of art. Fantastic handling at any speed. A little heavy on the low speed side. With sport suspension it handles better than cars twice it price. Panoramic sunroof is nice, pop up navigation coupled with on star means directions are a free phone call away. The XM traffic really helps in big city areas. It is definitely a car that makes a statement. Best car I ever owned.

HUGE disappointment!

Prior to owning my CTS I had an Acura TL and it was the most reliable car I had ever owned! Since I bought my Cadillac I have had constant problems! When it rains water fills the space in my trunk where my spare tire is located- sometimes up to 2 inches! I have also had the same problem with the doors! I have researched message boards online and people have been complaining of this problem in the CTS model since 2000 citing major problems with the sealant- I do not know if that is the cause but whatever the problem is it has clearly not been fixed! I called the dealership and they said they had never heard of such a thing, yea right! Soon after purchasing the car my front passenger break line collapsed, the dealership said that it was a common problem but that it had yet to be put on recall. Compared to my Acura it does not drive well at all! On the highway it is extremely loud and I have had constant problems with the alignment of my tires.

This car is an incredible value!

I am 52 yrs old and this is the FIRST American car I have ever owned, now going on 7 months. If a friend hadn't dragged me to the Cadillac dealership, I would not have discovered this gem. I had been looking at cars that cost $10 to $15 thousand more with similar features and handling/performance. I decided I didn't need the BMW/Mercedes/Jaguar name plate for the price difference. I am worried about reliability, but so far so good. Too many blind spots out the rear, yes, it really needed a rear camera option. And, yes, agree with reviewers about somewhat hard front seats and goofy panoramic sunroof. But it is a joy to drive on both short and long trips, the NAV and audio features are terrific, and the car turns heads.

Rides & Handles amazing

This car is an amazing vehicle. I have driven a BMW 3 series for several years and test drove the 5 series before my purchase. This car hands down killed the BMW with its ride and interior features. BMW wants to charge a small fortune for what this car comes with. The ride is smooth and quiet. The navigation system is on par with the garmin i had to use in my 3 series. the luxury interior and sporty exterior make this a must drive before shopping for BMW or mercedes.

Blown Away

I opted for the RWD 3.6L 304hp engine. It is so smooth on the highway and comfortable for long trips. Cadillac has really stepped it up with this model because the handling is spot on. The great handling matched with the responsive manual mode on the automatic gearbox and 304 horses at your command is right on par with any 3 series out there. On a 300 mile trip I averaged 29.9 mpg even with a couple of fun passes on the highway. The navigation and sound system is great too. I'm able to hook up my iPod or iPhone and record tracks from CDs straight onto the hard drive. This is an amazing car that blends luxury and sportiness very well.
