cadillac ct4 v blackwing 2022 oem 02 angle dynamic exterior front red jpg

The Cadillac CT4 blends luxury with state of the art performance and competes with rival sedans like the Alfa Romeo Giulia, Audi A4, BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The GM luxury brand is leaving the CT4’s formula largely unaltered for the 2023 model year, with the only changes being new exterior colors and a starting price of $35,790 (all pricing includes $1,395 destination charge).

New Colors Paint Largely Carried-Over Picture

The CT4’s lone major update for 2023 is the addition of three new extra-cost exterior colors: Radiant Red Tintcoat, Argent Silver Metallic and Midnight Steel Metallic. The range-topping CT4-V Blackwing adds a fourth hue called Maverick Noir Frost that’s exclusive to the Sebring IMSA Edition. The Blackwing will also get a late-availability Blackwing badge on its trunk.

Otherwise, powertrains are the same: Luxury and Sport trims continue to be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 237 horsepower; the Premium Luxury trim has an optional 310-hp, turbo 2.7-liter four-cylinder; the V-Series also uses the turbo 2.7-liter, but power is bumped up to 325 hp; and the CT4-V Blackwing gets a 472-hp, twin-turbo 3.6-liter V-6. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard on the 2.0-liter, the 2.7-liter gets a 10-speed automatic, and the Blackwing gets either a six-speed manual or the 10-speed automatic.

Pricing and Release Date

The 2023 CT4 is available now. Full pricing is below:

  • Luxury: $35,790
  • Premium Luxury 2.0: $40,690
  • Premium Luxury 2.7: $45,790
  • Sport: $41,890
  • V-Series: $47,990
  • V-Series Blackwing: $61,890

Rear-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive adds $2,000 to the CT4’s price and $500 to the V-Series (it remains unavailable with the Blackwing). The automatic transmission is an extra $3,175 on the CT4-V Blackwing.
