if suv?s Rule get the King of them all.

I finally decided to give up the AMG, I wanted something that would still turn me on. This is a nice substitute, not quite as quick but easier to wheel around on the mean streets.

Great performance

Awesome family hauler that is faster than most sports cars. Most people don't understand how fast this thing is.

Wow . . . wow!

What an SAV (SUV)! So far no issues with the X5M unless you consider wanting to drive it everywhere and resisting the urge to drop your right foot at every stop light. The X is so smooth that it puts you in a false sense of security while driving "spiritedly". That's not a bad thing . . . it a testament to the X's suspension. Overall a great used vehicle for the money.

Not your everyday SUV

Traded in a 2003 Turbo Supra - I'd outgrown (out aged?) a sports car, and wanted something more substantial, but with sports car qualitiies. I think I found it in the X5M. It was hard to find a car with minimal options and the color I wanted, much less a good deal. Worked the Internet extensively, and scored with a dealer 1000 miles away. After that, it was relatively seamless. For a 5,000+ pound vehicle, handling is remarkable! Reliability is yet to be seen - very complicated vehicle, so there's a lot to potentially go wrong. The run-flat tires could be a real sore spot - get a simple flat, and replace the tire @ $350! There are optional tire warranties available, but they're pricy.
