A real looker

The car turned a lot of eyes. Everyone loved the hard top configuration that had the no post between the front doors and and the rear window. It also closed the windows automatically whn you exceeded 90 miles per hour. The first time i experienced it, I didn't know what happened.

Fun car to drive. Handles great, 22mpg @70mph

I love driving this car. It turns a lot of heads because there are so few 840ci"s. Only BMW with flip up head lights. No one has ever sat in the back seat. The car has never been in snow or ice. Red exterior with black interior

Very Reliable Car

Still a classy car after 15 years, looks new, handles great and gets lots of lookers. Has features that were ahead of it's time. If I could afford it, and they still made them, I'd seriously think about buying another one.

BMW 8 Series

The flagship of the BMW fleet, the 8-Series was made with every possible option and all of the technology that the BMW engineers could throw at it. Truly a classic, the 8-Series is an architectural feat, sleek and unique in its design. The engine is big and powerful and is Germany's answer to the Camero or Firebird, but still maintains the class, taste and style of exquisite European touring vehicles. My previous car was a 911 and though the 8 is not as fast off the line, it is a lot of fun to drive and a blast on the open road. The difference is the style and comfort, it's just one of the finest cars ever made, and there aren't that many. The wide stance, the throaty growl of the 4 liter engine, the aerodynamics both on top of the body AND underneath! A classic and a head turner, and as with most BMW's, surprisingly reliable due to the care that it was made with.
